Moon logic puzzles and poor combat

The puzzles are poorly thought out and require the classic adventure game moon logic. An example in the very early game: An AI requests you undergo assessment and you're only given the option to say no. As a result of saying no you have to engage in combat with a robot and this can be repeated endlessly. The solution? Hide from combat so the enemy activates a control panel when it can't find you and then go back to the AI and accept their offer. What?!? The game is strewn with events like this where you have to do seemingly arbitrary things to progress. No spoilers but one puzzle requires repairing an electrical box missing a wire and even though we're adjacent to a JUNKYARD FILLED WITH ROBOTS we instead have to trundle for the magical mcguffin that can repair the box.

Aim for the story

I admit it: my 5 stars are not completely fair. The game is not always polished, some bugs, some clunky mechanics (especially in combat), give the impression of a rough, unfinished game. The shortness (in two/three hours you can finish it at 100%) may be a problem too. But the script and the story are so well written, the philosophical dilemmas come up in such a natural way that only at the end you realize what the game is about. It's a symbolic experience; and this for me is invaluable in a game. And that's why it deserves 5 stars. Adding to this: the puzzles are well made; they're intuitive: you never have the impression that you can go further in the game only entering in the devs' head (this is a problem of a lot of games... one for all: Samorost). And you can count on some slice of dark humor to solve some of them. It's not a masterpiece; but who loves games with a deep, philosophical - and also disturbing - story will surely love it.

Great game

I played it mostly for the story, and didn't mind everything else. Combat was something I never fully got used to, and I looked up guides a lot, whilch didn't bother me. After looking in the settings after I finished both games, I realized I'd been playing on the default resolution. Please change the final game to default to the screen's resolution by default.
