The Excavation of Hob's Barrow

Hob's Barrow is an enthralling occult folk adventure game that sucks you into its world from the first screen. The voice acting, all of it, is absolutely s-tier level, better than anything that's come out of Hollywood in the past two decades. How the devs could afford such talent, I have no idea. In addition to the acting, the directing, art and story-telling are the best I've ever seen in a point-n-click adventure game. And you get to enjoy all of this without being force fed any modern left wing politics. Instead, the devs focused on telling you an incredible story above all else. No dialogue or characters are our of place; there's nothing that needlessly jolts you out of the immersion of the narrative. This game is 100% WOKE/DEI free: - There is no "white" bashing - The female protaganist is an unwed (by choice) independent loner, but there is absolutely no man-hating of any kind from her. She pushes no female supremacy or 'alphabet' agenda in this game. - There are no shoe-horned anti-West/European themes or dialogues - There are no shoe-horned anti-Capitalism themes or dialogues - There are no shoe-horned pro-Socialism/Communism themes or dialogues - There are no shoe-horned forced-diversity characters that would be completely out of place for the time period and the game's geographical location for that period. This is historical European folklore and the game is approriately populated with native European characters that match their historial setting. (And if I played a game set in historical Japan, I'd expect to see native Japanese characters.)
