SWAT 4: Gold Edition

This game was relatively fun up until it just straight up wiped out all my save data. I've had corrupted save files before, but never an ENTIRE CAMPAIGN. Which is a shame, because the game itself is pretty fun in an unforgiving Rainbow Six kind of way. The split teams and remote body cam action were pretty nice, although the command UI could have been handled better. I would have liked to have played more of it, but the game shut me down at Mission 6 of 13, and the gameplay seems to be more of the same. It'll be interesting to see how this stacks up against SWAT 3 and Rainbow Six games. I'll have to check out the latest and greatest, because I feel like I haven't seen all the tactical shooter genre is capable of being.

I'm not going to write much of a review, this game speaks for itself, just buy it and play it. I just wanted the opportunity to thank the developers and GOG for putting this game up for sale at a mere $9.95! People on Amazon where wanting £80 for a used retail copy and I lost my old copy years ago. Going to get my friends to buy it so I can have as much fun as I used to playing non-stop SWAT co-op. Please find a way to get these on Steam as well and if you do, please make sure those loyal to the series are given them on Steam for buying them on GOG. Anyway, I'm rambling, just so excited to play. I'd probably buy them again if put on Steam, I love them that much. :D
