too cheap and boring
A linear adventure game with very repetitive tactical combats. There are only few recycling animations and voice acting, there are also no charm in typical japanese game characters. It seems to be worth playing on mobile phones for free.

An OK game if made by adolescents
French language has the word "nanar" which designate a movie that is absurdly bad, but in a funny way. This is a "nanar"-video game: nearly nothing is OK in it, but it is still fun to discover how the game will fail the next scene. Here are some justifications to my opinion: – There is still lots of bug (Linux version), especially in combats. – Combats are imbalance. – Writing is OK only if written by a 14-year old. – Characters are caricatures. – Character behave in an inconsistent way with themselves and with who they are supposed to be. – The scenario is nearly just a stack of clichés. – Graphics goes from "OK" to "seriously, this is the same character with color switch and small details modified". – Background graphics are pre-rendered 3D picture, but are so simple and ugly they could run on real time on a computer from year 2000. – Main character is the most idiot captain of the entire galaxy. This is the only explanation to some decisions. – No decision seems to have an impact beyond 3 minutes of game. – Absolutely all "good" people are girls. – This game contains the most embarrassing sex scene I ever have seen in a video game. So, if you have an unwholesome pleasure to guess and see how the next scene will fail, play this game. If you want to know what kind of game can produce some teenagers driven by their hormones, play this game. But if you are looking for a good Visual Novel or a good Strategy Game, run away (look for "Doki Doki Literature Club" for an excellent visual novel).

Fake Japanese game
f you were looking into this series based on the style? Well, I guess its worth being free, but I'm not paying for the sequels. The AMERICAN (as in, no Japanese) staff has mimicked the anime art style pretty well. It all falls apart immediately during gameplay - none of it is animated. All we get is static sprites getting shuffled around, like they grabbed the layer in Photoshop and just wiggled the mouse. If you were here for the gameplay... again, might be okay for free, would not pay for the sequels.
