Zakazana zona w Czarnobylu zmieniła się nie do poznania po drugiej eksplozji w 2006 roku. Przez mutantów, anomalie i walczące ze sobą strony w zonie żyje się bardzo ciężko. Bez względu na niebezpieczeństwa takie artefakty przyciągały wielu stalkerów, którzy, ryzykując życiem, zapuszczali się do zony z nadzieją na bogactwa lub może i odkrycie prawdy skrywającej się w Sercu Czarnobyla.
Jako samotny stalker Zbadaj fotorealistyczną, spójną, otwartą, radioaktywną zonę o powierzchni 64 km² i na różne sposoby poznawaj ten postapokaliptyczny świat. Przedrzyj się przez zonę, poznaj swoją przyszłość i wpłyń na losy ludzkości, wybierając ścieżki w rozległej fabule.
Poznaj członków różnych frakcji – z niektórymi się zaprzyjaźnisz, a inni nie przetrwają spotkania z tobą. Weź udział w niesamowitych strzelaninach z wieloma wrogami, którzy na różne sposoby będą chcieli cię przechytrzyć. Do dyspozycji masz 30 rodzajów broni i wiele modyfikacji, dzięki którym stworzysz setki kombinacji uzbrojenia.
Spotkasz się z przerażającymi mutantami, które na różne sposoby będą chciały cię rozedrzeć na strzępy. Każdy mutant może występować w kilku odmianach, których zachowania są jeszcze bardziej nieprzewidywalne. Najniebezpieczniejsze są rejony mateczników, gdzie spotkać można całe grupy żądnych krwi mutantów.
Najcenniejsze artefakty i sekrety zona zazdrośnie skrywa w swoich najbardziej niebezpiecznych zakątkach. Podczas łowów na artefakty uważaj na wszechobecne bezwzględne anomalie. Czy uda ci się poznać sekrety zony, która pochłonęła już tyle istnień?

Best Stalker game to date
I was really worried this will be another Cyberpunk 2077, but I was wrong. The game is great, there are few minor issues and it is a little bit luck based. Game has true branching story line from very begginging and some of those branches gets more issues than others. I have encountered very few and very minor issues in my gameplay. Also I believe Patch 1.01 already fixed majority of issues I have encountered. Game itself is huge, detailed, loads of things to do and to explore the zone. I am not here to say it is bug free, but also it is already very much playbale and enjoyable as it is, Especially after Patch 1.01 and now 1.02 it is very little missing in the game. True - A-Life is MIA as of now, that is disapointing, but whatever spawns in the enemies currently in the game is acceptable, not great, but acceptable, sometimes in some places little bit annoying, but definatelly not a blocker to play or enjoy the game. If you want to play game now, it is totally playable. If you want to wait for A-life to be released, then it probably will be another few months. That said this game has HUGE relayability potential, so one may as well play the game now and then replay it again when A-Life is launched. This is not the game you can finish in single play-trough. Note: regarding perfomance, it played great on my PC EPIC on 5k monitor (FSR no frame gen) and my PC is mid-range at best (5800X3D/6900XT). However, be realistic with hardware and expectations. 1080Ti is not mid-range nowadays, 3050 Mobile with 4GB VRAM is below minimum requirements, you will not enjoy the game on low-end PC. You need mid-range+. Ideally 16GB VRAM for EPIC textures. Overall, I would rate it 9/10, few small issues and non-sensical decisions (no NVG for example), but overall improvement over OG Trilogy which was already legendary. Game can be modded and there are loads of mods already that improves some of less great aspects of the game, but even as base game it is good. Highly recommended.

Where personalizing shortcuts?
I bought the PC version, not the console version. Controls made for Consoles, not PCs, no possibility of personalizing shortcuts. Since it's a shooter, I give it a 1 for the controls alone.

Its STALKER
Played for some hours and honestly i did not encounter any bug. I agree that the game need work on the performance side. But its Stalker, it has the soul, atmosphere is off the chart. I really hope devs will polish this raw gem.

Best survival action game ever.
Ignore the negative reviews. Most of the complains are nonexistent (i.e. A-life is great, NPC and the wilderness have their life and interact all the time, which can save you from fights). The game looks incredible. Graphics is top-notch. The atmosphere is among the best. The zone is brutal, everything there is trying to kill you. It is NOT meant to be easy. You have to pick your fights and if you can, running is a reasonable option. Fights are very tactical, you need to use all the covers, and different weapons, and change positions constantly. It's kind of what I wished DayZ was (if I omit the key difference between single and multiplayer). Still, unlike DayZ (throughout history), STALKER 2 actually works (right out of the box), looks amazing with a unique atmosphere, and provides all the single-player survival benefits (like a captivating story). Given what circumstances the game finished under (literal war and bombs falling on the city where the studio had headquarters), it's surprising that I've only encountered two bugs - clipping, which is purely cosmetic and has no effect on the gameplay and frame drop which seems to be connected with the hair details of NPCs on EPIC settings. I run the game at EPIC with ray tracing, 4k, 60fps on 4070ti with frame generation off, and hair on medium and this works great most of the time. I will tweak the settings a bit to eliminate the performance drops (already decreasing the rest of the sets to HIGH solves the problem, but I want epic wherever possible). It never crashed. The save system is perfect, it does have both auto and manual save which people with real lives appreciate. And you'll use the manual to save a lot as even on Medium difficulty, you'll die a lot. It takes very little to die in the zone. I seldom buy games for the full price, but I'm happy I pre-ordered STALKER 2. It's well worth the full price. Well done GSC Game World. You created a masterpiece even when the war made it nearly impossible.
