FIGHT THE PAST TO SAVE THE FUTURE. STOP THE SINGULARITY.
Learn the truth behind a massive cover-up of the catastrophic SINGULARITY, an event that fractured time and threatens the world as we know it. Armed with powerful, advanced weaponry and the experimental Time Manipulation Device, fight enemies from the past, the present, and abominations caught somewhere in between.
TIME IS YOUR WEAPON
- Use the TMD – Time Manipulation Device – to change the age of objects and enemies and bend time to your will.

- Unlock upgrades to harness the TMD’s full power and expand your full arsenal of advanced weaponry.
EPIC SCI-FI ACTION THRILLER
- Heart-pounding, first person combat action that immerses you in a world where the past and present collide.
- Travel seamlessly between two eras – 1950s Russia and modern day – each rendered with stunning lighting, physics, and effects using the Unreal 3 Engine.
UNRAVEL THE CONSPIRACY
- Traverse the blur between the past and future in order to stop the mysterious SINGULARITY that threatens the world.

I'm about 3 hours into this so far, but what I've played has been really quite good. The guns play is top-notch, the enemies are interesting, the story is cool, the graphics hold up to more modern AAA titles, and the added puzzle elements are quite unique.
As Ravensoft's swan-song, I'm quite pleased with the experience.
Played on Win7 with an I5-3rd gen and a GTX 660 (2GB) at 1080p. Smooth as butter.
The only complaints I really have is that the upgrade system doesn't let you experiment and I've heard the experience is a little short, but if bought on-sale (which happens from time to time on here) at $10-15 you can't go wrong.
SINGULAR FUN! Great gameplay, great weapons, and of course the TMD
NOTE: I bought the DVD since unlike the time travel games at the time had no DRM-MALWARE (required internet access to use and/or activate which hackers then use for easier access to your system). All the games compared to I can't see any relation to it. Other than some having the time-travel label. It's completely different from any of them. The characters are well acted and engrossing.
The story is engrossing from beginning to the end. All the cutscenes, notes, and flashbacks slowly give it to you, a piece at a time. It's high-powered action forces you to play smart. There are huge number of ways to solve tactical problems. The weapons are diverse enough to suit any playing style. The TMD adds a whole new level tactical gameplay.
Negative: The graphics are average, screen resolution is low and has average texture quality. They need to modernized. Their are times where dialog repeats when you take too much time to do something. It's really annoying.
Overall, this is a must have for any RPG gamer!
More great stuff from Raven here, A bit too linear tho..you can't back track for allmost annything,.door's closing behind ya to a point where it get's a bit silly..
And if the game just don't start, you might need the legacy PhysX drivers..
eg. PhysX-9.12.1031-SystemSoftware-Legacy. (wich don't replace you'r current driver)
Brilliant game which blends the best features of Bioshock, Half Life and Doom with a story like something out of Red Alert 2. Its a great time-twisting thrill ride with impressive visuals that will stay with you afterwards. Recommend.
Singularity isn’t a game that blew my mind by introducing a new feature or idea but it was very polished and was enjoyable. The weapons all felt fun to use and there was a good amount of upgrades to get for them. The TMD device was alright to use but I didn’t find a real reason to use it and would have preferred having the knife for a melee option as it didn’t need ammo to use and it got replaced by the TMD whether you like it or not. There were some decent environmental combat options such as cryo tanks and explosive barrels. The story itself was decent but got a little convoluted near the end. I will say that I was surprised to have three options to fork the story at the end, especially one of the options that didn’t think it would let me do. I also liked finding audio recordings and secret messages on the walls to add back story and expand on plot points. The graphics are much like the game play in that nothing wowed me for the time period it was released at but nothing was below average or an eye sore either. It was all simply good and serviceable. One part I did really like was the weapon damage on enemies, I thought the bullet impacts were very well done. The game wasn’t overly difficult on normal outside of one fight. The hard option may have been more of a challenge but I have a rule against picking the hardest difficulty if you can’t move it down during the game.
I played Singularity on Linux using Wine and DXVK. It never crashed and I didn’t notice any bugs or glitches. There are four graphics options and a v-sync toggle. Alt-Tab works. The game uses checkpoint saves, they’re pretty well spaced. One thing I didn’t like was that in order to quit the game you must quit to the main menu; back out to the first screen; choose quit and confirm it. I didn’t try to Alt-F4 so that may have been a quicker option but regardless it’s a convoluted process to exit the game. I couldn’t measure the frame rate while I played but I didn’t feel any lag spikes at all.
This game is waiting for a review. Take the first shot!
