It was ok, didn't overstay it's welcome, worth the sale price.
My two biggest problems where the keybinds and the save system. Reload and use item are set to the same key, try reloading next to a table and you can end up reading a note or ringing the bell on a typewriter. The game just takes all the saving out of the players hands, few tumes I walked through a door for it to slam shut behind me and the game autosave, meant I can't go back and look around and you can only load last save not even a reset to start of level/chapter.
I actually really enjoy the single player, but this game has DRM for multiplayer. The store page tells you to go to "My Account" where you're not going to find your cdkey. It won't be for long before GOG decides to let DRM slide for single player as well.
Slow and cumbersome to move around, everything about this game screams lousy console port, from the lame checkpoint save to the small enclosed environments. This game is over priced at $5. Don't waste your time or money.
For an 11 year old title, its quite demanding. The controls are smooth and the default bindings are typical for mainstream FPSes. The story and presentation are well done but the graphics are desaturated and the atmosphere is gloomy. This isn't Far Cry or Halo CE. Recommended for horror FPS fans only.
