Good intro, hope for more in next games

Overall verdict: 4/5, good game, worth buying, playing and finishing for me. Nice introduction into Shadowrun universe, hope for more in next SR games or mods. Pros: + Overall atmosphere: universe, music, locations. Graphics is pretty nice for such an old game. + Lot of text (mission descriptions, dialogs), written well. You are reading a book with some combat scenes. + XCom-like combat system, simple, but allowing a lot of tactical space. Cons: -- Combat is too easy, even on hardest difficulty. There is no space to use all your fancy abilities. -- Lack of in-game information and mechanic description. -- Some annoying bugs, mostly with inventory. -- Linear plot, so most likely not replayable.

A very good game with a great story!

This is a really good game! If you loved top-down isometric games a la Fallout, you'll probably love this one. Pros: Great story!!!, suits many play styles, decent skill tree Cons: Music is repetitive, camera sucks bad, could have done a lot better with a bit more effort, the game is extremely linear.

Surprisingly good linear RPG

Surprisingly good linear RPG, with tempting cyberpunk theme, story and something more. I installed this game with attitude "I bought it on sale, maybe it's time to check it now'. And that was mistake, 3 days was " wasted", about 15h of play in free time.

A decent start to a fantastic trilogy

I'd still recommend picking this up for cheap and playing the trilogy in order, to see how far the developers came in just three games. If you're pushed for time, starting off at Dragonfall is fine as they're only very loosely connected. The back of the box review of this game is that they're pretty good RPGs with a better than good story packaged in something you can beat in under 20 hours. That ticks a lot of boxes that a more heavily developed game like Pillars of Eternity would struggle to match.

I never played Shadowrun-series before,but this part is similar to Xcom or Fallout 1-2,who loves Cyberpunk type and genre will get a pleasure
