RollerCoaster Tycoon® Deluxe

No way!!!!! Its the RollerCoaster!!! If you ever played this game, you already know how awesome it is. if you didnt, well, you didnt have a proper infancy. The best that can be said about this game is that is FUN. it is a damn fun game. its got the charm of beautiful old isometric graphics, detailed and with a great art direction. Really, this game is a must. everybody should feel the thrill and pleasure of designing its own mad rollercoaster, with as many loops and spins as you may imagina, and then smile with satisfaction at the dizzi customers and shout "AHAAAAA"

I am so glad to see this on GOG. My old copy is a PAIN to get working on Win7. I had to install the game, patch it, install the expansion, patch it IN THAT ORDER or it wouldn't work. This game simply works with expansions included! And what a game! It's one of the most polished and well-presented sim games ever. It really doesn't feel a decade old, like a lot of sim games of the time do. The graphics remain beautiful, and the gameplay is just as engaging. For $6, you MUST buy this. The one thing I always wondered about this game though is why every guest is a man -- even though some of them have women names!

THE best sim/city/park builder ever made. For me, that is. It has never been surpassed, not even with several sequels. I always enjoyed the 2D style, before the half-assed 3D entries in the series. This is just pure park-building bliss, and if you enjoy any kind of building-sim game (CMS), you will very likely enjoy this. It's not overly complicated like SimCity, but absolutely not without depth or strategy. I always found this to be the perfect balance for me.

This game has to be one of my favourite sims out there. I love roller coasters and theme parks and this game captures creating one in such a perfect and fun manner. From the music on the Carousel to the clicking of the chain on the roller coaster you get totally immersed in this virtual environment.

This was the very first PC game that I ever owned, I couldn't even begin to describe all the hours I'd spent building the perfect parks, designing the ultimate rides. This game will always have a special place in my heart, and I'm glad that I will once again be able to spend endless hours poring over this classic.
