While working on his merit badge in levitation, Raz discovers that someone is kidnapping psychic children and stealing their brains. To foil this evil plot and earn the title of Psychonaut, Raz must project himself into the mind of one bizarre character after another to battle their nightmares and inner demons. He does all this while continuing to earn psychic merit badges in subjects such as telekinesis, clairvoyance and fire-starting.
This amazing 3D platformer adventure, full of brilliant humor, trippy setting, and surreal action, became famous for its originality and excellence of design. If you're looking for a unique gaming experience, this is a fine pick. More than just fine, as a matter of fact--double fine!

One of the greatest titles of the platformer genre
I love this game, but I just wanted to inform people that this version does not work well on Arch Linux. I applied one common fix (renaming files), but after that got two more crashes at different points (with different errors). I will continue to play on a Windows machine. So be sure to enjoy this game if you are on the supported platforms, but if you are on Arch Linux, be aware that there are problems!
Picked up this gem just recently. While the platforming itself is rather bland and the controls are a bit janky, this game just oozes with creativity. The writing is fantastic and hillarious, even unimportant side characters are interesting and memorable, and the clever little nuances to the brilliant and varied level design just blew my mind. If the creatively bankrupt triple-a-industry got you all jaded and cynical, you need to do nothing but play this to restore your faith in the medium.
Would be 5 star and could be my favorite game of all time but dropped the ball hard at some point
Note: First time I tried this game it turned me away hard because how frustrating the first level is but don't do what I do because it gets much better
Pros:
+ Levitation power is awesome
+ Metroid like elements where new powers give you access to things you couldn't reach before
Cons:
- Poor story that missed a great plot twist oppurtunity
- Some really really really tedious parts especially towards the end
- Feels dragged on after some point
- Beating the game leaves you in a weird state where you can replay some levels but can't go back to camp?
