Nice Story
It has a good story, admitted its worse than the previous games of the franchise, but still better than most of the newly published games in terms of story and interesting characters. Also it's design is quite nice but ultimately the fighting is nott that fun because you can't die, so it gets boring.But still a good buy.

Nostalgia Fun! Genius of Jordan Mechner
I first played this game on an old Apple II, with a green monochrome screen. Also the original Karateka, made by the same guy (not development team, just one guy, J. Mischner) As I read the other reviews, obviously younger people have absolutely no idea how much this stood above everything else: these games competed with Ms. Pac-Man, Defender and Space Invaders. It has a stereotypical "Alladin" type background, but of course! But saying this is racist is sort of like saying Ms. Pac-man was racist. For an 80s game, this was rich in character development! Now, of course my review is in danger of being a "get off my lawn" rant, but seriously if you don't remember playing this game, or perhaps are a beginner game coder yourself, save your money. Can't say it's a Boomer thing, because Boomers didn't have videogames at all, whippersnappers! Also, those of us who've downloaded a previous "free version" have run across game spam. You gotta pay at least a couple of bucks to avoid that, which I am grateful for. But really when I see complaints of "no DLC" in a game over 25 years old, I just don't think you're capable of appreciating this. Now get off my lawn!

Not worth any money
As many stated, what's the point of a game if it's not challenging, because let's face it when you can't die, game could basically just play itself (they could simply made an CGI Movie instead of game).

Dumbed down ...
I'll keep it simple: this game does many many things the wrong way. The very core of what makes a Prince of Persia game has been raped by taking away the challenge. Combat is simplified and it's seemingly impossible to fail because the game will always "save you". It always baffled me how this game ever got any decent scores - every positive review seems to harp on about its great graphics yet admitting the game can be tedious, repetitive and dull. Really? Having played it, I can only agree except that I'm not willing to boost the score by 50% just because the game happened to be aesthetically pleasing. No thank you, this one is easily the worst of all recent Prince of Persia games and it's no small wonder that it sold pretty poorly as well.

Absolute worst of the series
This game is so dumbed down, I don't know if it's made for little children but the combat and gameplay are ridiculously simplified. It deserves 1 star but I gave it two because the graphics at least are nice.
