Very classic and gem game
Well the game is very good, nice lore and puzzles, the actores did the best they could do. The only complain i get is u need config ScummVM in dosbox config to get hq3x and render vga..still i cant fix the pixel cutscneces, but nothing afect you gaming.If you like a click action you should try this game.

Can Still Creep You Out!!
Sierra, & Roberta Williams go together like peas and carrots. This game and it seven cd's kept you on the edge every moment, wondering what was going to happen next. Pretty graphic scenes that you wouldn't have expected from a game like this, especially when it was released

Phantasmagoria
I understand that what this game is about, does not jive well with other people enjoy or are accustomed to. But for fellow Sierra/King's Quest junkies like myself, I was sad when the game was over. I never had an opportunity to play it as a small child, due to the graphic nature of the game, but 20 years later, I discovered it listed on GOG and was consumed by it for the next 3 days. It took me back to my childhood one more time, in a really wondrous and magical sort of way. I grew up on the KQ collection, and in the package, it had trailers for other Sierra games, including this one. So.. because the extreme Nostalgia/happy good feelings it gave me, I give this game a whopping 5 out of 5. Likes: Musical Score. Actors. (even the cheesy bits) Graphics. Mystical outside sculptures. Unique puzzles. Dislikes: Wished there was more interactive game play in each chapter. Wished there were more characters to interact with. Because of the nature of Sierra's game play I was nervous about missing a crucial item and being unable to continue.

Cult Classic
Phantasmagoria was, without a doubt, the scariest game of its time. Heck, it's scarier than most horror games today. This game did horror correctly. Unlike the horrow genre today which is all gore, Phantasmagoria was 95% creepy and foreboding, which made the 5% of gore closer to the end that much creepier. Since it was a tad avant garde for its time, avant garde and technology rarely mix so there were some issues (juggling 8 CDs in a 1.5x speed CD player through the whole game was never fun). But despite its flaws, the graphics, sound, music, atmosphere, and the few precious sick parts near the end made this a competely memorable game. It's just too bad Phantasmagoria 2 went the route of sexed up and lame.

A Classic
I played this game back in '94, and am pleased to see that it holds up over time. This game is a true classic. It is a great adventure game, and one of if not the best FMV game out there. The only thing that comes close is Gabriel Knight: A Beast Within. If you are an adventure game fan, this is a must play. Great story, the puzzles make sense, and it is just an overall good time. Turn out the lights, and let the eerie glow of your monitor take you on a classic adventure.
