Pacific General

I always wish they would bring us an updated version of this game, or something like it and to this day the closes thing to it is Order of Battle Pacific, this classic is a great game yes graphics ECT are dated and need Do Box to play only issue I had was the small screen in the center but after playing with settings ECT I figured out to set my Graphics card to fullscreens mode and now it works fine, this is a must buy for Panzer General fans and this is the only place I ever found this classic but over all great game and buy...

Works straight out of the box like a charm with Windows 11. A great old classic!

Played this as a kid in the 90s and still enjoy it today.

Great game but really hard at times.

The mechanics are good, except for a marginally-controllable map, and the argle-bargle "battle" sound-effect gets tiresome. But who designed the weather in this game, Noah? I guess you can shut off the rain and mud, and that might be a good idea, since it seems to there purely to slow down the game. If it rains, you can't have air combat; if it's muddy, movement is halved. I had two nice days at the beginning of the Australia scenario, then *five* of rain, and the last 3 of those with mud. So, about 3/4s of the time so far, the weather has significantly affected combat. I don't think that accurately reflects history. More like a tactically-weak AI.
