Incomplete but deep
Kenshi has basic graphics, missing buildings, frustrating difficulty where you get beaten up again and again. But it's also amazingly immersive and full of freedom and intrigue. When I think of how games should do factions and NPC interactions I think of this game.

it was good back them its great now
i have over 500h in this game (i have it on steam) and its one of the best games i ever played. its not about graphic, but about explorations feeling, and how hard it is to become someone. only hard work will save you. you can be everything or nothing. you can be one men army or find friends. everything depends from you. want to make outpost? do it, want to be explorer without own place? do it, you get better with each fight with each lose and with each win. so go get it, this title is one of those worth to get.

It's still the early days...
Kenshi shows promise, but needs work. Much of its acolades seem to be caught up in expectation. For the cost, it might be it might be wise to wait until Kenshi is further along in development - unless it seems like the kind of game you'd like to see stick with, as it moves through its beta.

Great game
I have been playing kenshi for a few weeks now and its @#$%ing great! point and click survival strategy RPG , hire up to 30 men / build your own walled in town Cons- singleplayer only...... game crashes occasionally..... not very well optimized yet.. people who don't want to slowly build up from being a weak nothing will have a bad time.... only about a quarter of the map is finished atm the rest is locked Pros- outstandingly addictive regardless of the game running poorly and being singleplayer i can't stop playing. once you research enough you have a lot of cool building options..slowly building your team / town and defending it from bandit / wildlife attacks is extremely satisfying if they would only add multiplayer id say twelve out of ten i have six cages with live bandits i've captured that i use for training dummies >< i even purposely starve said bandits so they are an easier match for my new recruits (starvation affects stats) and appearance ...can't wait to see what the devs add next
