translation issues beware
I bought this game from gog on a whim, and my first impressions are not great. Graphically, it's great, and the same is true for the sound. Combat feels a bit cumbersome, but isn't really that bad. Unfortunately, the English translation isn't particularly good. Here are a few examples, taken from a conversation early in the game: (speaking with the herbalist in the 1st town): "I'm glad you've arrived at last. I've been impatiently expecting you. I'm sure there's great power inside you even in your young age. The power that's able to front the darkness slowly enshrouding the town" "Darkness was enshrouding you much like the whole town, but there was a lit torch in your hand and that means defiance and power" "They always herald something that is going to happen and what is going to happen." In short, it could be a good game if you can ignore the writing, but for me, the writing is rather distracting
