Opis
As Indiana Jones, you’ll travel to 1935 China to prevent a powerful artifact from falling into evil hands. This globe-spanning adventure pits you against evil Nazis and the Asian underworld. It’ll take more than just a trusty whip and pistol to avoid the perils of the Emperor’s Tomb.
Indy's latest adventure plays out in dramatic fashion thanks to new gameplay features such as brawling combat. This time, in addition to using his trademark whip and pistol, Indy can engage in fierce hand-to-hand combat against foes, many of whom are well-versed in martial arts. Improvised weapons such as shovels, chairs and table legs also can be used to fend off adversaries. The result is a more immersive and more Indy-like gameplay experience, set amidst spine-tingling movie-like action sequences, such as a rickshaw chase in Hong Kong and a spectacular battle atop moving gondolas in the South China Sea area.

A Worthy Successor to Infernal Machine
I first picked this game up on PS2, which was the third console it released on when it came out in 2003. For the time, it blew my mind. The graphics, music, sense of scope in the levels. This game is underrated and it's a shame, because it is for sure the best Indiana Jones game out there. The combat in this game is broken down into hand-to-hand brawling, and light shooting mechanics. For the time and even still to this day, the hand to hand is absolutely a dream. The manual shows off multiple combos you can perform by hitting different attack buttons in sequence, you can grab and toss enemies a small distance away, useful for throwing them off cliffs, and you can also block. You'll traverse jungles, german castles, temples, aquatic ruins, a u-boat base, mountainous gondola stations, chinese forts and hell itself in this game. It absolutely has varied enviroments, and alot of them could be described as large, especially for the time. Along the way you will have light puzzle solving elements that aren't too demanding, but give you a rather enjoyable break from all the jumping and punching. Indiana Jones and the Emperor's Tomb remains to this day a game I know I can just always pick up and have fun with. Not much about it is frustrating, except for some minor parts toward the end. If you enjoy action adventure games I highly suggest picking it up.

A epic adventure
Hi, Indiana Jones (Emp), is a third person shooter (TPS). With (360) degrees horizontal full rotation and (180) degrees vertical full rotation - making it excellent. High graphics available. Wide array of locations to enter, ex: jungles, underground + underwater areas, ancient sites, Nazi installations + much more. Configurable keys like, movements, rope up/down, jump, backpack also is the wheel + more. Weapons like, Indy's whip, machete, pistol + silenced, shotgun, spear-gun + more. Enemies like, Nazi's, villains, sharks + more. Solve puzzles + traps, collect relics + items + ammo. Long play depth. Superb gem. Superb sound effects + musical eerie score + NPC speech chatter also a Indy like (H Ford) voice chatter. A real adventurer's delight. One of the best still out there. YxDDVxY

Unnecessarily difficult and frustrating
It's difficult to not see the auto save system as a design flaw, especially in the later stages. I actually finished the game on YouTube. It's frustrating to master sections of the game and then to have to continously redo them, to further advance in sections you haven't mastered yet. It wasn't really an issue for me until the final act. Some of the jumps need to be timed correctly or Indy's position on a rope or chain needs to be just right. There were several occasions where I'd miss a swinging jump just because I wasn't low or high enough on a chain. You can beat up bad guys with objs you pick-up, a feature modern games still implement. It's not full of cut scenes, the way forward is never unclear like modern games that are so expansive. It's a sit down and don't think too much kind of game. It has some puzzles that shouldn't fry your brain. It's still a fun game, the graphics have held up reasonably well unless you're a graphics snob. It generally gives you opportunities to heal. It has action sequences that are still fun but sometimes its age shows...There's a sequence where you shoot a gun on a moving vehicle, for me the mouse sensitivity was way too high. There's probably other sequences that show "old game problems ". Modern games have figured most things out to make game play tolerable and also enjoyable The story is still fun. It's not overly cinematic as in modern games. This wasn't 2025 it is a retro gaming vintage. There's enough different locations to keep you interested. Environments look like real places It's not a bad Indiana Jones game and it does deserve all the hate. There's been really stinker Indy games. The biggest flaw here is it's lack of save game options. After playing Infernal machine, the straightforward-ness over Infernal Machine's complex maze levels was refreshing. It's more relaxed but has intense moments. Over all it captures the Indy soul. The voice actor is decent. The game is good. I didn't finish but it's possible
