It's a Shipper's biggest fear. You're grounded in the exclusion zone, twenty miles of death and decay sealed off by the towering, suffocating walls erected after the collapse.
Alone, stranded, and with limited resources at your disposal you'll have to push your way through the zone, solve environmental puzzles, manage resources and fight for your life as you try to find a way to escape beyond the wall.
Play as Mica, an unlicensed black market shipper who will stop at nothing to find her missing partner.
It’s been 12 days since Sasha left.
You talked about it, you argued about it and you even laughed about it. Anybody in their right mind knew going to that place was a death wish, a one-way trip to the end of the line. But Sasha wasn’t one to scare easily, she wanted answers and there was only one place those answers held any truth. Her mind was already made up, you just didn’t expect her to do it without you.
Twelve sleepless nights later and you finally get the call. Tax has found someone, A border security suit looking to make some extra credits on the down-low. He can get you clearance, a two hour window to fly into the zone, find Sasha and get the hell out of there.
You make your way across the exclusion zone but something’s wrong. The nav's running in circles and you're losing altitude. Before you know it a blinding white fills the sky. The dash goes dark and your hover drops out of the air like a lead balloon, slamming into the paved streets below.
You wake to the acrid smell of an electrical fire, rain pounding on the cracked windshield. You're surrounded by the crumbling remains of what were once considered homes.
You need to find a way out. Call for evac, scale the walls. Something. Anything. Survive.

..or so I thought until this gem came along! This is the best survival horror game I have played in years. The atmosphere and sound design are spot on. The voice acting and story are both great. It really nails the old school survival horror gameplay. I will be playing again to get the other endings.
Did not purchase this game on GOG, but I felt like it deserves more attention/love.
A very capable game on its own, the fact that it was created entirely from one person is an achievement in of itself. It's amusing to see the zoomers giving it 2 stars not realizing certain aspects of the game are what made the original silent hill games so atmospheric and great in the first place. Seriously; the dev REALLY nailed down the shadow effects and dark atmosphere when you're exploring inside a dark apartment, just phenominal job.
If you even remotely like Silent Hill and want a similar experience, this is a must buy. A little shorter than what I was hoping for, but there IS a new game+ for those interested.
While i feel game does have that little charm in there which could provide the game to be classic RE like experience, it unfortunately quite does not reach that pleasant level.
As per writing there is not real rewarding reason to explore the environment, camera is real pain (there is "free" moving camera behind the character that does not respond well and fixed camera points, but i feel game should have just either one available since currently it is unresponsive and a bit messy) and visually some would argue it is slightly.. well, i do not want to use word ugly but cant think of anything else right now.
Also difficulty wise, in first playthrough you can choose between story and intended difficulties. After completing game once you unlock one more difficulty option to use. I played once with intended and i feel there were way too many healing items and weapon ammunition lying around - latter which might be cause i mainly meleed most of the enemy types, so that is arguable.
Overall atmoshpere felt kind of nice, but empty and mostly uninteractive world mashed it for me. VA and music were also nice and fit the overall mood well.
Lets just end this with that if there ever will be some sort of sequel, that might be true predecessor for RE like games. This one? There are better alternatives available for this kind of gaming experience. I am not disappointed with the game, but also fail to see all the praise. Try it out, but do not expect too much.
Before I start, It was very enjoyable. I have been itching for Silenthill/ residen evile like survival horror game for a while now, I would recomend this one. itts more SH then RE
Puzzles:
There are very fiew times where i had to open up a guide which is good.
some puzzles are simple, some are more complex, nothing that makes you feel like a genious but enjoyable.
Nitpicks and Rough edges:
There were interaction problems on two occasions but Nothing gamebreaking just made me miss a
weapon and caused frustration on a puzzle. (it sounds bad but it really isnt)
The sewer section is the most frustrating but also the best part of the game. its weird , wish devs
leaned into the weirdness a bit more, it would make navigation "Interesting", as long as it was at least
comprehensible unlike the sewers. Wish more was done with funky navigation
WRITING, VOICE and EXPOSITION:
The moments are sparse but The exposition needs some work, I know the car is busted, no need to describe the acrid smells, I just crashed in it. If im not sure , I will interact with it and the text will apear telling me how the car smells and if it works or not (it is a CLASSIC survival horror, not a Novel let me interact or question my enviroment, and provide some answers to the situation, backround, story or clues) . That kind of writing does make a BOOK more engrosing, embuing an object with personality or a special feeling, or indirectly explaining the situation. but in a videogame, it is a bit jarring unless it is a " No cutscene , just text decribing the events" (example: MGS2 - snake tales gamemode doesnt have cutscenes just text)
Voiceacting is a bit more servicable. Doesnt get in the way of the story. it does have a bit of an indie charm,
Story is not shallow, but it aint no signalis either (That is a very high bar to pass, so this is NOT A DISS on the game, Just do not expect yourself to be swallowed whole by the story).
Good game, play it if you like this sorta stuff
After one playthrough I'm not gonna spend any more time with this ever.
The graphics are moody but overall bland, the soundtrack is barely there, combat is super unsatisfying. It just feels more like a demo or a project in development for the original Xbox or something.
After 30 minutes you get what happened but the game just goes on and on. Even the 4+ hours I spent with the game felt stretched as I walked through empty streets while my 3080Ti was at 85% usage at 4K for this level of fidelity.
I would have accepted this as part of a game jam like collection, but not at over 15€ standalone.
This game is waiting for a review. Take the first shot!
