A more story driffen Hitman Game

My favourite part is when you can disguise your self as judge and release a crazy tin foil hat person who stole a bunch of garden gnomes in a garden centre free in court I'm not kidding you can do that at some point in the game. Hitman Absolution slightly different game compared to the other Hitman games, you have the usual stuff, being stealthy, ability to disguise your self to blend in, and using items to asassinate individuals or to distract them. But what makes this game more different to the other Hitman games is that it's more story driven. The other Hitman games are story driven as well but it's more objective based and you get a cut scene at the end of the mission. Also what makes this game different to the other Hitman games is that the level design is more linear compared to the more open level design compared to the other Hitman games. Also you can't just disguise as a cop for example and walk past a cop otherwise they will go hostile and shoot you. You have what's called instinct which is a level meter by holding CRTL while walking past an individual will use up instinct which adds to the extra challenge. Also like in the original Red Dead Redemption by pressing CTRL + Q you can stop time to place markers where to shoot and press Q again to place those shots is cool I suppose. Hitman Absolution more akin to Doom 3, Sonic CD, and Mario 2 (USA) in how it tries something new unique the that genre or IP while keeping to the same formula it usually offers. to put it short Hitman Absolution is like the black sheep compared to the other Hitman entries but it still an amazing games if you enjoy anything Hitman.

Jest to zdecydowanie najgorszy Hitman w jakiego grałem. Myśłałem, że liniowość lokacji sprawi, że rozgrywka będzie przyjemniejsza, ale zawsze masz do dyspozycji jedną najlepszą drogę. System zapisu i projekty poziomów są beznadziejne. Po wczytaniu zapisu powaleni przeciwnicy wracają na patrole, a system rozwoju postaci jest żałosny. Zaliczanie wyzwań zwiększa modyfikator punktów, które są tak przydatne, że po zdobyciu określonej ilości ulepszają zdolności o 5 lub 10 procent. Same wyzwania też są marne i zadanie, które polega na pozbyciu się trzech różnych celów w określony sposób. Możesz wykonać likwidując jeden cel, wczytać i powtórzyć dwukrotnie. System przebrań, który polega, że każda jednostka z takim samym cię rozpozna. Działałby lepiej, gdyby tylko w niektórych etapach każdy rodzaj przeciwników w lokacji nie zbierał się w grupy w pewnych miejscach. Jako akcyjniak, to zabawa, ale na bardzo krótko.

A very Mideocre Hitman

Absolution trys to by a hitman/Action game and it Fails at it. Just like most Modern Games these days Visualy Hitman looks nice and thats about it, the Story is Boring and stopt caring after the 2nd level, the Maps are very linear and uninspiriert , sound is ok at best, gameplay is good but some gameplaymechanics like instinct mode, disguises, save system are broken and make no sense. Enemy Ai even on higher difficulty is still very stupid. In summary the Good : Graphics the Bad : Boring cinematic Story Experience living, breathing, linear corridor World Rich dialouge and Hollwood standard performances Ground - breaking Ai Decive your enemys with disguise and instinct system

A Good Game, But A Bad Hitman Game...

Note: This review is from a Hitman WOA trilogy fan. Pros: 1. Graphics 2. AI 3. Good Animations 4. Great shooting mechanics. 5. Dialogue and Cinematics Cons: 1. Most missions are very linear compared to the other games, some not even having any targets and the objectives being to reach an exit 2. No manual saves, only manually activated checkpoints. 3.Very action-oriented instead of stealth 4. Instinct being required for blending in. TL:DR - While this game is definitely worth picking up on sale, you'll definitely enjoy this game more by playing it as a discount John Wick game, rather than playing it as a Hitman game.

Missing Contract Mode lowers to 3 stars.

I am new to the franchise and picked this up in a sale, but the core gameplay immediately felt familiar to Dues Ex: Human Revolutions (same developers). The game tells me that I finished at 11.5 hours but my actual time was probably closer to 20 hours with deaths and restarts taken into account. The core gameplay is solid and offers a strong toolkit of options. The problem is in the level design which, on about 70% of missions, feel like puzzles with two-three right answers rather than a sandbox to explore and manipulate. Most of the more open sandbox levels are buried in last few missions of Act 2 and Act 3. I don't like doing thing the same way twice so this left a lot of once and done content. The developers stated that they wanted to deliver a cinematic experience and this game does that, it's still a beautiful game with expressive characters, detailed locations, and strong voice acting. The story is detailed and well put together, but didn't really capture interest. If it were a movie, it's not one that I'd watch again despite the production quality. The various villains are strongly unlikeable, which is strong point, and the main character is a very cool antihero, but there's no great appeal to the others. Which is a problem when cool antihero is supposedly out to rescue a teenager who spends most of the time sitting around half conscious and barely gets any meaningful interactions. The fact that many cutscenes cannot be skipped is problematic on replay. After finishing the game, I found myself interested in going back to explore the world and experiment with different forms of mayhem. But the heavy handed story telling and level design made that feel inaccessible. I think the missing Contracts mode would have added a great deal of replay value to this title but, unfortunately, it's missing. I got a good deal on this game in the sale and I'd buy again, but at this point I'm not sure that I'll replay.
