A unique game with personality.
This game is this types of game with its own distinctive style. It's a great game, the graphics, the mecanics it's quite unique. Is a realtime strategy game but it mixes strategy with role-playing. Its style is more close to the Spellforce than C&C or Starcraft. So if you are searching for another C&C-Starcraft game style, probably isn't the best choice, but maybe you'll like it. Pros: - Unique visual style and graphics. - Mix of strategy and role. At the begining you can choose the style. Allowing further in the game change mix the styles. - Your hero can be equipped with items, spells and use potions. - Massive battles. Not in the way of Total War series, but there is no population limit and you build units fast. - Neutral units. Individual and mercenaries groups. Mercenaries can be paid to help you. Cons: - The campaing campaign comes to an abrupt end. - Difficulty curve in the campaign is bad. The first mission on the campaing is probably one of the most difficult. - Balance in the gameplay styles fail. It's more hard to play RPG style, that RTS style. - Some performance issues. In general for me it a great game. At the end, after finishing the campaign you have the feeling like the studio had run out of time or money. It's a pity there was no sequel of this nice game.
