Heroes Chronicles: All Chapters

Ludzie narzekają na brak wersji pl mówiąc że kiedyś było po polsku ale zapominają albo nie wiedzą że u nas wydano tylko 4 z 8 kronik. Reszta nigdy u nas nie wyszła więc edycja kompletna nie ma prawa istnieć po polsku. Dla opornych w necie jest do pobrania darmowa fanowska łatka z tłumaczeniem i obsługą hdmoda. Pozycja dla fanów którzy ograli wszystko z podstawki, ostrza, shadow of death i hoty a którym wciąż mało pamiętając że to wydanie nie wprowadza żadnych zmian ani dodatkowej treści względem powyższych prócz nowych kampanii

All 8 chapters that was downloaded are awesome and is well worth the price ($9.99). Unfortunately, the description included "The Final Chapters" and it was not included in the download. Any idea why?

It's more Heroes of Might and Magic 3, what's not to like? Well, in truth, there are some things, like the fact that in three of the eight campaigns you're forced to play the Barbarian faction, my least favorite one of all. Many people also complain that Chronicles are way to easy. Well, they are not wrong, especially if you're a Heroes series veteran - it's definitely the easiest entry in the series by far. But... is that really such a bad thing? I have to say I rather enjoyed such a change of pace - not having to reastart scenarios, being able to explore maps at my leisure without worrying too much. And with 8 campaigns, even if they are easy, that's still a lot of play time, you're not getting ripped off. Even the story (or rather stories) are mostly quite good. Some better, some worse, but all campagins have a narrative that's at least a little engaging. Play it expecting an undemanding, pleasant distraction, and you won't be disappointed.

Heroes Chronicles is really good, I enjoyed the writing and Tarnums journey across the lands and the ages, his inner workings and the figures he met on the way. I kind of wish the HoMM3 base game and addons would have been more like that. It seems to be the bridge between HoMM3 and HoMM4 and I'm probably one of the very few people who prefer HoMM4 over HoMM3; the reason is, that I generally prefer games with a focus on narrative than games which lack one.

I just like Heroes of Might and Magic III, so this game, for me, is just adding more sugar on the cake. If I did not own the original HoMM3 Complete edition, I would buy it and not this game. It is still good though, buy it if you are a hardcore fan of the franchise... especially at the low price GOG is selling it!!!
