Brzmi dobrze
Gra wygląda świetnie, odświeżenie starej grafiki z lat '90. Niestety nie działa na starych integrach i kartach, bo wymaga sterownika Vulcan. A więc potrzebne jest Nvidia GT 600+ czy przynajmniej procesory SkyLake z 2015.

Gdy zoomer robi grę dla boomera ...
„Hands of Necromancy” miało być hołdem dla klasyków typu Heretic czy Hexen, a wyszło coś, co nie wie, czym chce być. Grafika – raz próbuje być retro, raz coś udaje z Unity, w efekcie ani to klimatyczne, ani estetyczne. A wymagania? Jak na taką oprawę – kompletnie przesadzone. Widać, że ktoś próbował „zrobić boomer shootera”, ale nie czuje podstaw. Ani flow walki, ani level designu, ani klimatu. To nie jest gra dla fanów lat 90., tylko dla ludzi, którzy myślą, że wiedzą, jak się wtedy grało. Szkoda czasu – są lepsze retro-FPS-y zrobione przez ludzi z pasją, nie przez algorytm stylu.

Hexen?
A GZDoom Hexen-like FPS. According to Civvie 11 that would be not a good thing, but I like it for the most part. There is a nice twist: you can transform into various shapes which give you abilities to solve puzzles. Remindes me a bit of Powerslave. Downsides of the game: corners are too dark and I do not want to waste a torch. Also there are some cheap shots at the player. Altogether cool - not as good as Hedon, but still good.

Garbage mod, not like Heretic at all
I bought this garbage mod on Steam, where it used to sell for quite a bit more, and was told when it dropped it gives one the Heretic and Hexen vibes. That is not at all the case, this is just too broken and inocoherent on a design level. Rekkr is much better than this mod. The free Doom mod Ashes 2063 is much, much more impressive and does things with the Doom engine that look like Ion Fury. The Aliens: Eradication TC is free and also amazing. This is as lazy and derivative as the rest of the developer's work. Don't be fooled that its like Heretic, only insofar as it uses the Doom engine. The way this boring and frustrating mod is so overrated is baffling.
