Great game, best memories

I loved this game I still have a version of it on CD, I would really love to see the Polish dubbed version on GOG, it had great humor and kept me entertained through all the game. Kudos, although it's an old game it's aging really gracefully.

A great game

I just finished playing through this game for the first time, and It was more than worth the price. Between the great variety of the gameplay and the absurd humor, this game delivers all the way through. My only complaints are that the base-building levels can be slightly repetitive, especially since there's little from one of them to the next to increase the difficulty or that requires an approach different from the last. Other than that, it was thoroughly enjoyable, and I'm glad to have had the chance to play it, having missed it when it came out.

NOSTALGIA FREE REVIEW:

I enjoyed this game. The graphics may look old, but they should still be good enough for players who are less picky about things like that (Like Serious Sam, the colouring is lively and bright and adds character to the game). The sound and music in the game was good as well. The story is entertaining and and the writing is quite funny. There are many things in the environment that are destructible as well! Lots of variety in gameplay (details below). Overall, a great game for a good price (I got this game when it was offered for free but feel like it would have been well worth purchasing). You get to play three characters in this game: The Mechs, a Sea Reaper princess and the giant, Kabuto. The Mechs' chapter involves third or first person (there is a command that can be used to switch between the two) shooting. More Mechs join up with you as you progress through the story, making a nice little squad you can command. The only thing I disliked was the Mech's base building and resource gathering mission, which I found difficult and tedious (mainly due to trying to guard a boss Smartie and hoping the squad would do it for me). Delphi the Sea Reaper princess was an absolute pleasure to play. Included in her chapter are also races and a few base building missions (I enjoyed those as Delphi could move around quickly in the large maps provided). As Kabuto you get to eat smarties and enemies to grow and heal. And smash things. I thought the Kabuto section it dragged a little, but not enough to detract from the experience as a whole. I loved the concept of getting to play as three races with their unique gameplay elements (although Delphi's story was a little too short for me; loved playing hers the best).
