Definite Classic
Dungeon Keeper 2 provided me and my friends hours of fun back in the day, and it's still awesome now. The normal version of the game does have troubles and requires some fiddling to get it working on Windows 7. With the GoG version I just downloaded, installed, played. Can't ask for much more than that, and I'm running Windows 7 64 bit. As for crashing, it hasn't crashed on me yet, but I haven't played it all that much either. I know the original version did have crashing issues (after an hour or 2 of playing it would just crash to desktop.) so I won't be too supprised if there are issues remaining, but I still played it back then despite the occasional crash, and still do now, just save regularly if your paranoid.

genre-defining classic
this is a great game and a classic. if you don't know it or its predecessor, you maybe should play some good games. the shutdown issues result from a incompatibility with newer graphic cards, and have nothing to do with the used operating system. to circumvent the issues, deactivate most of the graphic-features, especially the hardware acceleration. i tested this on winxp and had no issues anymore. ati cards seem to cause more problems than nvidia cards. you can play this over lan using hamachi.

SOMEONE FOR MULTIPLAYER???
I realy wish to try, finally, this game play againts not an AI players! Someone interested? And BTW, its already working for Win 7 (install a patch, which is part of downloading files here)!
