Based on the characters from Bram Stoker's suspenseful novel, Dracula: The Resurrection takes you forward seven years from Jonathan Harker's faithful rescue of his fiancée Mina from the fangs of Dracula. Now married and comfortably living in London, Jonathan thinks his nightmare is behind him until he comes home to find a letter from his wife, who was bitten by Dracula several years ago on the night of his death. Unable to ignore her call for blood, she is returning to Transylvania. I have played all five Dracula games and reviewed Dracula III-IV & V for the now-defunct Adventureclassicgaming.
I found Dracula I-II and IV very good games with good logical puzzles integrated into a reasonable narrative. Dracula III - Path of the Dragon is the one outstanding game of the series with excellent graphics, excellent story, and challenging puzzles. It is a must play game for serious adventure-gamers. As for Dracula V, give it a miss. The game was put together too quickly and was an unfortunate let-down to what was a fantastic series.
Dracula Trilogy are a great series of games. The only con I've encountered so far is ALT-Tab doesn't work. Has supreme atmosphere and puzzles. Many thanks to GOG for bringin this title.
So disappointed this game doesn't work on windows 10 and 11. I have 1 and 2 of dracula and both without problems yet this game won't even open once downloaded. I tried the suggestions given on the reviews but nothing works sadly. I played this game many, many years ago on a older system obviously and it worked without issues.
1 star because it doesn't run at all on windows 10 or 11
