Ceville

nie mogę tej gry ukończyć nawet asystując się filmikami z YouTube bardzo chciałem napisać coś innego ale straciłem motywację do dalszej gry i zamierzam ją odinstalować

The game is good but that's all. It has very good music and atmosphere. Graphics are cartoon-ish and I feel they fit very well to the genre and game plot. About plot without spoilers - is simple and I think it is not a bad thing all in all it's fantasy. For me the riddles were a bit hard since there is division into three characters which can use objects others can't - it was nightmare in late game. Slow movement of our heroes didn't help too. Voice acting is not bad nor good, but overall I like it (just listen how they pronouce "Faeryanis"). I can recomend this for anyone - good graphic design, very good music, as funny as tough.

Ceville was one of the games that helped bring back the point and click adventure genre. Its a really fun game, with lots of dark humor. There is also lots of references to other games and fairy tales and such throughout the game. Like at the beginning of the game where Ceville has to judge whether to punish the wolf or the three piglets, because they are suing each other. I remember this game had problems running a bit slowly after Windows XP. Might have just been Vista that had a problem, but whether it was updated or patched, it runs with no problems in Windows 10 on my computer. This might not be one of the top adventure games of all times, but I would certainly rate it above mediocre. It has a lot in Common with Simon the Sorcerer 4 I would say, and I think I prefer Ceville. With the wave of new adventure games we see now, I could mention many that are not very good compared to this game. I feel it has a nice mix of good puzzles and good humor. If it was a 10 point rating system it would probably get 9 instead of 10, so in this case 4½ instead of 5, but I would say it has earned its 4 stars and then some.

Twisted fairy tales, good Puzzle design and very humorous throughout the Game...the cynical Mainprotagonist always reminded me of playing Malcolm in Kyrandia 3...anyway, here´s a Link to a (german) Review that nails this Game: http://www.gamestar.de/spiele/ceville/test/ceville,44443,1953728.html
