Keyboard and mouse
Brutal Legend is awesome but one star because if you have only keboard and mouse the game is unplayable and unbearable (it's impossible to drive a car!!!).

Very fun game
Dont look goodies before you finish game, they give spoilers. Played this on ps3, replayed it on pc It crashed 2 times on me. In both times I restarted and continued where I left off. I reduced draw distance a little and it never crashed again. Its looks much better on pc than on ps3. Gameplay story and especially soundtrack is very good. Its very underrated game. Double fine did a great job. Only downside is ending. It feels rushed. But It's still a great title to pick up and play.

Kitchen sink design ruins the game
So here it is, a game seemingly perfectly engineered for middle-aged metalheads such as myself, a dude weaned on Iron Maiden, Metallica, and Megadeth. Brutal Legend admittedly nails it with its world and story and soundtrack. But it falls so short in actual gameplay. At first, it's a brawler -- you know, lots of button-mashing combos. Then it's an open world thing where you're driving around doing stuff. THEN -- it turns into this bad RTS, kind of like what Sacrifice (available here on GOG...) did, except Sacrifice did that weird FPS/RTS thing right. And then Brutal Legend kind of...just ends. So you end up with this mishmash of game elements, none of them that great. Very disappointing.

Disappointed
I bought the game based on the demo and feel completely deceived. The gameplay in the demo is completely apart (action/adventure) from the main game (RTS horribly implemented). On top of this it's sad because the game and setting had huge potential.

I give up
I was having so much fun, until the final showdown with the girl, after blowing up the towers I can't even get close to her, she basically one shots me, I can't go on with this level of frustration, I'll just watch the rest of the game in youtube
