Worth the wait! Worth every penny!
I always loved Symphony of the Night, and this is that on steroids! This is easily the best Kickstarter I ever backed! Cannot recommend this game enough!

an excellent Metroidvania
After obtaining the good ending of this game, I can say that this keeps all the excellent things that made the old Castlevania games fun, while providing new stuff that makes the game so much fun. The shortcuts system is brilliant, and is way to make you use different weapons. And the amount of weapons is insane, a lot of possibilities to enjoy discovering the castle. As of 1.05 update, the game does have some bugs, but none gamebreaking. hopefully will be solved with the updates to come. In my opinion this game is worth your money and time. I spent 16 hours getting the good ending but there's still lots of things to do ingame.

An amazing new Castl... Metroidvania!
The game is beautiful... the gameplay and the graphics are very well maded. The exploration is great, just like old GBA, or DS castlevanias... a lot of things to do, a lot of ways to search. If you enjoy SotN or playing castlevanias on GBA or DS... this game is for you... I think it's even better in a lot of aspect. Btw... special mention to the good aesthetics... becuase usualy 3d graphics in 2d mechanics doesn't match very well... but (thank god) it's not the case... and the 3d models looks just as good as the beatiful Miriam's design. 100% reccomeded! =)
