5/5 just for Cultists. BLOOD is the Best Build engine game ever made, and frankly of the 2.5D era shooters it is the best one ever made.

Must have for a shooter/horror lovers
An absolute legend. One of my favorite games of all time. I go through the whole thing once every few years, and every time I'm charmed by how much atmospheric B-grade horror can be portrayed in a 1997 shooter. Mechanically it's not perfect, but it makes up for it for me with mood and humor.

I'd call this more of a port than a "remaster" as Nightdive didn't really remaster anything. What they did do is faithfully port one of the best Build engine games to modern Windows, with just enough QoL improvements to make it a more desirable option than playing the original in DosBox.

One of the best
It is considered by many the best build engine FPS game ever made. Solid, but not my favorite. Playing it on hard difficulty can be quite a challenge (and also quite frustrating, especially the extra episodes). The final bosses have a cool background and in general they are quite cool, however, the last one, Chernobog, was a disappointment (too easy to kill). It has one the most creative (and diabolical) weapons I have ever seen in a FPS: the voodoo doll. Above average level design, but too repetitive at times. Ultra-violent in a kind of fun way, it has aged well.

I mean, I heard it's good, but didn't expect it to be that good. It is tons of fun! Good audio. Gameplay is fast-paced. I am thankful for adding better controls and making it run well on new devices. The game is simply amazing! <3
