Beautifully crafted crawler
(Playing on normal on all settings, not sure if the Hard difficulty changes some of the things outlined below) The music, the art aesthetic, even the character building is all very well done. The voice acting is strange but I think it is because the dev team are Hungarian so I imagine they sourced locally. It is not terrible voice acting though and given a fantasy title it even adds to the aesthetic of a different world. The battle system is a bit more updated then other crawlers but still maintains the classic feel. I am only just under 10 hours in and I have been loving the secrets in the levels, the artifacts you get to find treasure/secrets, and the fact that when I get a new artifact I WANT to go back to the last stage and see what is hidden that I saw but could not reach because I did not have the required tool. The story is easy to follow and is not bad. I think that the team (apparently under 100 people in this studio) knew better than to take the story TOO seriously. In that I mean the reason your character takes on the quest is rather silly. You do only actually create 1 character and the rest join you, however, you are able to redistribute the points whenever so it does allow some strategic flexibility. This may turn some folks off though because there is not a charge or downfall to making these changes. I had a fight I noticed I needed more AoE spells so I spec'd all my character(s) abilities to lean more AoE. If I want to change it and try a different path later no problem. Also you can respec ability points and actual abilities separately so you do not have to do both any time you want to try out new things. Support a small dev team and check this game out. Worth the cost imho.
