Classic RPG at its best!
Wizardry 8 is one of the best RPGs I´ve ever played. Don´t waste your time reading reviews etc. Just buy this game and have fun. Wizardry 6+7 are also great games. Buy them all. Now!

A Great Game That Aged Like Cheese.
Now before you all angerly click "no" on the "Was this helpful?" option, let me get this out of the way: I USED to like this game. Back in '04 I had a blast playing this. Here I am now, playing it again and just feeling let down. This game is very grindy, even if you solo through it, and there's a lack of side-quests and just interesting things in general. If you're a beginniner, the class system will murder you, because it's very complex. Which is a problem for this game, it's too complex for one to enjoy. A game can be hard even if it's easy to understand, but this game is just annoyingly complex and it can hinder your experience with it. You can get the hang of it, but the boring, slow, turn based battles may turn many people off from it. You can try real time mode, but I don't find that helping very much. If you're curious about this game and have played many rpgs before it, give it a shot. If you're not curious or newer to classic rpgs, ignore it. Instead, alternatives like Might and Magic are available for you, which I find superior. But that's just my opinion. Many people do enjoy this game, and I don't, despite past experiences with it.

Get out of my head!
So I went back to this game and have been playing it for a couple of weeks, trying to finish it for once. And what should happen, but it shows up here? Fantastic classic RPG, get used to fighting constantly though.

Un pauvre might and magic.
Alors jene sais pas si ça a mal vieillit mais il faut reconnaitre que les combats sont assez horribles et ça utilise le systeme du toujours plus fort que vous ! Ont n'a du mal avec les décors assez dénudés et d'une créativité aussi vide. Malgré tout il y a des efforts, la carte dans le jeu est aussi très peu lisible, heureusement il y a de quoi marquer des infos malgré tout ça reste très ridicule de ne pouvoir attaquer en premier, et vos personnages sont les pires glandus de l'univers ! ça se balade dans un vaisseau spatial en slip de paille, c'est vraiment la crise ! j'ai du mal à continuer car j'aimais bien might and magic et la faire qq chose de si peu logique c'est vraiment difficile. Je ne peux pas bien le noter l'interface étant d'une époque antérieure, à se demander si ce n'était pas les débuts de la souris. ( quant même voir ses personnages mourir à force d'echec contre un rat qui vous met le double de dégats dans la tronche avec plusieurs attaque ça fait plaisir ont se dit mais crève donc kev adams du JDR)
