and if you're reading this — you made it this far into the page and you're on the fence — here's the sign you needed. just get it and give it some leeway. come for the extensive fantasy world and character builder, stay for the realized character voice acting, tactical / abusable combat system, and attention to every last detail. for the time it was made, in the context it was made. there's real life in wiz8, and in all of sirtech's games, and they're worth your time.

All time favorite, still relevant today.
This is one of the greatest Games ever made. I play it regularly since i got it and i hold the memories fondly i did so. Also one of the games which still get me hooked nearly _every_ time i start it up. Get speed Mod though, fights can be unneccessary long without faster animations. SirTech, after all those years?... ;-) Besides Ja2 yes. To the game: deep RPG, from one char, to 6+ 2 optional ones. The Classes and Races are superb, depending on your choice even with ingame relevance to the story. Briliant Character Designs and interactions. Character Development is one of the best i have seen in any game. Great Weapon / Armor / Equipment Choices. The dialogue Options leave nothing open, as you can guess topics, which the character you speak to may know about! Fights can be unfairly hard, but you just get to love that. It's just not for the faint of heart, as you have to devote your time into it.

Best Good Game
Not gonna sugercoat it this game is dang fun, lots of build choices and varied senarios. However without mods the game can be slow, use WizFast or the Fan Patch if you want to have the game move at a resonable pace.

Great Old Game
Improves on the older Might and Magic games in just about every way in my opinion. Much more in depth and difficult. Surprised it took me this long to give it a try. The ability change all the keybinds really helped as well with it not feeling as aged as it is.
