A movie. It is a movie. That's it.

This game has zero creativity to it. It is a mess of strung together scenes and dreams, masking as a horror game. There's a reason it is almost always on sale for a dollar. It is a disgusting waste of time. Do not get me wrong, I appreciate the time and effort put into thuis game. I'm surw whoever made it was passionate abou it. That being said, it is a railroaded storyline. A movie. you walk, click, watch a scene, walk some more, scene changes, walk, click, scene changes AGAIN, repeat. One big, hard to understand movie. Save your money.

Waste of time

If you read anything about the game before playing it, you know that it is more or less a walking simulator. So I play the first 15 - 20 minutes, which could be the start of an interesting story, but from that point the game just deteriotes with every scene until nothing makes sense anymore

Calme toi, jeu ! Prends le temps !

Les paysages sont vraiment pas mal : nous avons de beaux effets de lumière. Ça se gâte quand il s'agit des personnages : tout est carré et pas du tout détaillé. Alors oui, c'est un choix artistique mais c'est assez choquant quand le reste est plutôt bien modélisé. La musique est bien. Étant donné qu'il n'y a AUCUN DIALOGUE, celle-ci aura la lourde tâche de donner le ton de la scène ainsi que transmettre de émotions. Mission accomplie pour ma part. Alors l'histoire, là, nous entrons dans le vif du sujet. Le début se passe bien, même si, les transitions de scènes sont trop brusques : vous marchez dans un couloir et magie : vous changez totalement d'endroit en un clin d’œil. Très déstabilisant. Même si rien n'est dit, tout est montré et franchement ça passe bien. On arrive ressentir de l'empathie pour les personnages et c'est un tour de force. Le problème c'est que c'est assez bordélique par moment. J'ai eu l'impression que notre protagoniste devrait aller consulter en urgence des psychologues. A mon avis, l'histoire en fait trop. Sans spoiler : elle aurait dû finir au niveau des cellules avec la scène juste après. Ça aurait une fin parfaite et triste. Mais non, on part encore pour 20 minutes de délires pour au final arriver sur une fin trop... Fouillis. Comme beaucoup d'éléments, je n'ai pas tout compris. On vous donne des documents à lire mais vous avez pas le temps : transition vers la scène suivante. On est pas là pour lambiner ! Le jeu se termine très vite : comptez deux bonnes heures. Virginia tient plus du film interactif que du jeu vidéo. Vous subissez. Vous ne pouvez pas interagir avec les personnages ou le décor sauf si c'est prévu dans le scénario. Les meilleures moments sont ceux où le jeu prend le temps de se poser et d'instaurer son ambiance sans avoir à rusher les séances .

Intriguing game but not for all

This is more like an iteractive movie. All you do is walk and click on some part of the screen. The game isn't about the gameplay, but about the story. No single line of text or dialogue, just great music and staging. You are an FBI agent trying to solve a case in a small town, That's all i'm going to say. The graphic part is quite simple, but the light add something special. As for the end, i didn't understand it, and i guess it's intentionnal. I like this kind of story where, you have to think of it after playing, where you question yourself. But i acknowledge it's not for every one. So if you don't like that kind of gameplay don't buy it. If you like mystery, investigation and atypical storytelling this might be the game for you.

very weird

I got this game for a dollar, I finished it in under 2 hours, it's so weird and I don't understand a lot of it, but idk the game is supposed to be a weird surreal story with no dialogue and it does that well, I think this game acomplished what it set out to do and that's respectable. I enjoyed my time with it, I thought the animations were very well done, I probably won't play it again but for a 2 hour expierence it was good. The attempt at telling a story with no dialogue is commendable even if it makes the story incredibly hard to follow. Idk I'd say it's worth going through once if you're in the mood for a surreal story expierence. This isn't a game though, it's an interactive story, basically a movie where you have to make the character walk. There's no choices, challenge, puzzles or anything that makes this a game, but that's okay for a short story expierence imo.
