Universe Sandbox

When the game came to gog, it used to support linux, but now they just dropped support for it, what a delicate attention. So the windows version? It keeps telling me my machine doesn't meet the minimal requirements, even though my machine far above the recommended requirements, and then the game exits without any way to merely try. "But it's an early access game, of course you should expect bugs!" Sure, but it's been more than 10 years this game is in early access, so let's be real, it will never be released, and probably won't get fixed either. "Why not contacting them instead of whining in a gog review?", because their "support" redirects you to steam forums. Sure, I'm gonna buy this crap again on a DRM-full store, good idea!

It's a universe sandbox. If you love physics, space, astronomy, etc., then you will love Universe Sandbox. It's the entire universe and anything else you can think of at your disposable, sandbox style. Amazing game. Super interesting to see how things in the universe would react to each other.

Very interesting physics. Also great for Universty. You can simulate probably almost everything we know about the universe and play like nobody ever could play in space with planets, galaxies or theoretical »black holes«. Our solar system is worth exploring from a different angle than the telescopes out there. One nice addition would have been to explore the visible universe and all known Exoplanets. Maybe it will get into the sim at some point in the future. Great that this didn't end up as yet another space bonk.
