Ultima™ Underworld 1+2

It's impressive considering the year it was released.

One the best RPGs to ever be made now can be played once again without tweaking and rigging things on your system. Kudos for GOG bringing this game back from the archives. Hope to see the System Shock series next.

Ok, I don't like posting negative things online because there's usually nothing constructive that comes out of it. But this here comment is a warning to those who have never played this game and have no nostalgic attachment to it: Worst interface of all time ever. Avoid. Save your $3. I hate to do this, because I am a real sucker for old-school hard-core rpgs just like this one, but the interface, the motion (constantly jittering and bumping into walls when attempting to walk straight) was wayyy too much of an obstacle. I definitely can identify with those of you who love this game because you have fond memories of it, I definitely have my share of games like that, however this one was unplayable to me. I guess that makes me unlucky because I don't get to enjoy it for the first time, let alone relive the glory days, and I could totally see my 12 year-old self getting way into this game, not having known anything about what an efficient interface should be like. But just not for me.

Fantastic 1st person rpg! Creative spell system. Hope they get the rest of the classic Ultima line up in soon!
