Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered

Tomb Raider was the first ever video game I played!

Pour le moment je suis obligé de mettre un avis négatif puisque cette compilation n'est toujours pas à jour sur GOG. Je regrette vraiment de l'avoir achetée sur cette plateforme mais je changerai ma note quand il y aura le patch 2 comme sur Steam et les autres plateformes. Déjà qu'on était dans le flou total pendant des mois pour un éventuel deuxième patch mais alors si on ne l'a pas sur GOG ça craint !

My main focus is AOD because 4 and 5 follow the same format as 1-3 remastered. The entire package is gorgeous and incredibly streamlined. I Controls are so good in AOD that I bauxite breezed through most of it so far. However, AOD deserved more than just running textures through AI, using old mods, and inputting new character models. Putai and the amulet were still completely ignored and disrespected. The cover shooting still has slight targeting issues. I escaped the seasons hall with 2 of the stones. One of the levers got stuck there. In addition, there needs to be some head hit detection. We should not have to shoot an enemy 5 times at point black range to get rid of them. If think this would all be done instead of just a bunch of cosmetic work. Still, really amazing work though for 29.99. Thank you!

Of course I haven't finished any of the games yet, but so far, it's everything I was expecting. My biggest issue with the 1-3 remaster was the retro graphics, wich were far too pixelated for my taste, as I played it originally on PC, and the 60 fps was reduced to 30 fps but it didn't even feel like 30 fps, more like 20 due to some issue with the frame times (frames were not evenly spaced causing some feeling of low fps all the time). None of that is here. You can now choose wheter you want 30 or 60 fps for the retro graphics, and in both cases feels perfect. 30 fps feels consistent, and 60 fps feels super fluid. Sadly, this GOG release, much like the other remasters, lacks overlay integration, meaning when you get an achievement, you don't get notified. I really hope they can fix that this time, and also patch the 1-3 remaster with the same retro options. But overall, extremely satisfaied. This game was the first in a very long time that made me want to play it on day one, causing me to break my golden rule of never preorder... but hey I had the option of a refund if needed.

Some Bugs left to deal with but the games work fine.
