Excellence!

There's a reason the game has won so many game of the year awards. Check a couple of videos at the beginning of the story to get an idea of the story setting and gameplay. If it appeals to you even a little then immediately stop watching and buy the game of the year edition. The game is easily worth a full price in 2021 and if you can find it on discount it is practically a steal. There are some light criticisms about the sword fighting mechanics or the complexity of the potion mixing system. These are really only nitpicks - the story is excellent, the visuals are fantastic and it lasts for ages. No filler, all killer is the expression that comes to mind. Just buy it now. You will not regret it. Sidenote: The game does have some flaws. First, it is not for light entertainment - it offers serious moral quandaries and is oriented towards an adult audience. Second, the nitpicks I mentioned above, if applied to a game with a lesser story and characters would make for serious flaws. There are areas for improvement and I hope these will be addressed in the Witcher 4. But hey, buy it. Sidenote 2: The witcher has been copy protection (DRM) free since launch (day-0!). CD Project took a huge gamble and proved that you can have a massive best seller without spying on users or lootboxing them to death. It really is a landmark title in so many ways!

The story is amazing

I've always been an RPG lover. But did not enjoy any third person perspective ones. So, obviously, I had never played this. A friend of my recently learned of this fact and for months pestered me to play this game. I eventually gave in, and bought the game early 2021. And I must say, putting my bias aside, this game is nothing short of phenomenal. I trully love the quests. The writing is top tier, as I had heard from CDPR. I had quests where I ended tearing up. I felt some strong emotions. Not only that, Geralt's relatioship with Triss, whose romance I enjoyed the most, really felt familiar to my very own. And not to mention that in 2021, the graphical aspect of the game is yet amazing. It just looks beautiful. The controls sure feel weird to me, although I will credit that to my lack of joy for the perspective and as such will not hold it agains the game itself. The game "spoke" to my in a way so particular, I placed aside my hatred for third person just for this sage. I ended up getting the previous two games because of this one.

one of the Best game ever💪

My feedback will be short. Some years ago i played in not license version of Witcher 3 and i was delighted and proud of it, that i bought it after. And i bought witcher 2 too. So when game is really good and high quality you don't want to be ungreatful. Many Thanks to all witcher 3 team!

The best open world game I 've played.

Just as the title says. I 've been playimg since 2000, so I don 't know about older games , but since that time , it is , simply, the best open world game.

Splendid Game, Bad Next Gen Update

Next Gen Update: Performance extremely terrible with the same graphics settings as DX11 version. Even when I am lucky to get it perform normally like DX11, it still can triger strange performance drops, after a fast traveling for example. DX11 version works flawlessly. Less features? I say totally worth trading for a stable experience. --- Other than that, the game itself is worth every damn penny. - Graphics stunning. Even in DX11 mode you get Ultra+ textures and vegetation. Toussant is wordlessly beautiful. - Combat is okay, not its strong point. But you can have a fun build. - Side quests are each unique and all hand-crafted as far as I know, no procedural generated stuff. - Too many "?".
