Game of the decade- easily, maybe GOAT

What can I add . Not that much but... DISABLE question marks and use quest tracking only when you are lost. Seriously- do it- this alone will elevate TW3 from GOTY to once lifetime experience. Apart from that .......this game, this game is one of these you may, if you are lucky, play decennial. For me it's up right there with FF7 and, seriously, I never thought I will say sth like that. Sure, leveling could be better so could be the crafting. Fighting may be more varied when it comes to enemy skills and tactics (please note expansions are much better here) but.... The storytelling is easily second to none in gaming, each single character is deep, mature and just realistic. The immersion of the world (again when one turns off question marks and quest tracking) is unparalleled. The quest composition and moral choices OMG are hands down the best I have ever seen (TW1.. Red dead redemption and Persona come close but no cigar...). So many times I walked away from my rig to think what just happened or which choice I should pick and so many times it was like ....wow DID I really do that? Really? OMFg...... This is one of the games that define genre and will be remembered for years to come...

Very overrated and repetitive

People are talking about this game as if it would be the second coming of christ. Sadly this game has all the shortcomings/flaws as other open world titles but because it is The Witcher and so consumer friendly those flaws are overlooked. This game contains nothing but fetch-quests and following markers or following your witcher senses. You don't have a lot of freedom in terms of role-playing, which is okay since it is a story driven rpg with an established character, but you really can't behave as you wish. You can't go on a rampage in cities for example and you only have a few selectable dialogue choices. I tried to play through it 2 times and I gave up after the 3rd. I don't like any of the characters and the story does not really interest me in any way.

Best game .....

The best game by far ... Story and same gameplay just amazing ... even after those years still stay strong .... can not wait for next gen update :)

One of the ALL-TIME BEST GAMES EVER

Skip all the negative reviews and opinions from other players. This game is on another level. This game is the G.O.A.T. . . . THE G.O.A.T. Forget you need any streaming services. Cancel any streaming service subscription you have. You won't need them. The story, the cut-scenes, the playthrough, the graphics, the characters, the music, the open world, the monsters, the possibilities with the easy to understand level system, etc., etc., this game is AWESOME!!!. It is soooo good and so great that even when it crashed into an error, I was not even mad. Just load the game again, and kept playing it. That's how a games should be made. CDPR, you guys nailed it.

Story, Design, Scope, Detail,... Amazing

I played this game on Xbox One so take this with a grain of salt but I think this actually is one of the three best games I have ever played maybe even the best though I admit that RPGs are my kind of games and I am deep into the fiction through the books. The amazing scope at which the game excels and the amazing amount of detail in story and design really drove it home for me. Yes, sometimes it can be a little clunky but seriously at this kind of scope I can accept that easily. Again I recommend this game to anyone who has the time to play it as it took me well over 200 hours to finish it including all the DLC. !0/10 5/5 99/100
