Great puzzle game
Not exactly fast-paced, but if you feel the need to pick your brain through gorgeous world and soundtrack, that game will scratch that itch.

Best, relaxing, frustrating game I own.
Don't let the title of my review put you off. I got hooked on this game when a friend showed it to me and then made the mistake of going to order pizza. By the time he was off the phone I was hooked and wouldn't stop playing it. He got to eat 2 pizzas though. The soundtrack to the game is chilled and relaxing, the graphics beautifully rendered and serene. I can sometimes just fire up the game and wander around the ruins listening to the music. Elohim is superbly voiced and has a timbre that really gets to you when he speaks, explaining the who, what, why through the game. I've not tried the Serious Sam DLC replacement yet, even though I nabbed the Gold edition whilst it was on sale here. I do and I don't want to, I just love the original voice so much I'm worried it might ruin it for me. The soundtrack has been transferred to my music centre it is so beautiful and chilled. As for the game, it is something you can dip in and out of without fear of losing what you are doing. This is where the frustrating and annoying part of my review title comes in. I adore the puzzles, you're not on a timer, you can sit and watch the screen, plot your solution out, retry it if you get it wrong, and don't have to solve everything if you don't wish to. Some of the puzzles can seem annoying, wondering what on earth the solution is, others the solution stares you in the face. Annoyingly, you can struggle with a puzzle only to play the game another time and see immediately how it is achieved. And frustrating is not the word once you solve a particularly tough puzzle only to realise how incredibly logical and simple the solution actually was. I never get tired of playing this, and have to admit I have bought it for every platform I own that supports it, from console to desktop. I honestly can't recommend this game enough. Try it, you won't be regret it, even if you think puzzle games are not your thing.

One of the best FPPs ever made!
Croteam has made a masterpiece out of assets from Serious Sam 3 and what would be used in Serious Sam 4 to make a game that is up there with the two Portals from Valve. And unlike those two games, this game 1. asks deep philosophical questions on what it means to be human or have a soul, and 2. is DRM-free on GOG. You will have a great time with this game in both story and gameplay (which really tests your aptitude for reasoning)! I highly recommend this game! _GO GET THIS GAME!_

Absolutely fantastic, but also stale
I loved the atmosphere, the puzzles were nice too, not too hard, not too easy, though some are too easy. My issue is puzzle variety and gamelength. The story drives this whole game. It keeps you going. existentialism, nihilism, religious topics, a lot of modern and antique topics, what is consciousness, some nice knowledge given to the player, etc. A game to truly think afterwards. Not enough of those around! Big praise from me. A lot to unravel and analyse. Brilliant from croteam THOUGH also a tiny bit pretentious sometimes. I sure as hell though skipped the sheer overkill amount of puzzles at points, too much puzzle content gets you burned out very quickly. I like my puzzle games, challenging, shortkept and well paced. This game is.... so badly paced. Do 100 puzzles here, and 100 more here, sidetrack on this irrelevant little sidelore, etc., before you progress further. My advice to you: just do the tower and don´t overspend too much time in the A,B,C worlds. Only get thr required puzzle pieces. Type of a snoozefest way too early and way too quick. I had the A and B hubworlds completely done and I shouldn´t have, for the 7 levels of the tower were left and burned me out once I started C world and the c world reallllllllly bored me to death and dragged the game beyond its expiration date. You get bored QUICKLY if you don´t make a lot of breaks inbetween puzzles. Also thze game could have used more thematics changes, too much abrahamistic pandering. Asian, nordic, south american themes would surely have given the game more variety. It´s mostly greek, middle east and northern african stages. Not even roman much or babylonian. Real strong greek, phoenician, egyptian, judeo christian focus. Technical aspects: runs flawlessly. biggest cons are definitely that it gets too boring too quickly. biggest pro is the whole thematic premise of the games worlds, as well as the story and the puzzles.

Wonderful game, I recommend it to all
I love this game, first time I play it was as a cracked app for iOS, later when I see how wonderful the game was I buy it on iPhone, later on PC, well I didn't buy it for two reasons was a little expenvise on Steam and was a Denuvo game (and I strongly dislike Denuvo), so I play a couple of sesions on a cracked version on PC and later try to give it some support by play in it with my cousing on the PC Xbox GamePass, and now by surprise to me, is DRM-free so I buy it so I can enjoy its extra content, and I may be even buy one as a gift, I didn't think I would enjoy a puzzle game, but this one with its main under going story and the interesting documents of the computer and the very touching audios from Alexandra Drennan, very well dubbed as far a I've seen, not only in my mother tongue spanish, in others as well and archieving a high level in that amount of dubs is just by itself impressive
