The Guild Gold Edition

I bought this for a road trip to play on my laptop last year, and I still enjoy it even today. It takes some time to get into but once you've got the hang of the gameplay it will keep you amused for hours on end.

Great game. Do you want be medieval craftsman? Do you want be alchemist, smith, soldier, robber or other? Do you want make dynasty and growth in city hierarchy, make yourself from citizen to baron? Do you wand blackmail, kill, duel, persuarte, judge, love ... (etc etc) someone? If someone is YES for you, its good game for you.

A little difficult to pickup at first, this game is FANTASTIC! You live your life as... well anything really. You can choose from a handful of goals - such as amassing a fortune or becoming a master in your profession. I played as a Landlord and I amassed a heft amount of money, a wife and 2 kids. My business soars in the night time when everyone is off work and needing alcohol. My advice to you is to get this game, now. Also - a few minutes playing the Tutorial would be well spent.

Like the title says. It is made with a love for detail that many new games are missing, the graphic is really nice for the age of the game. Only flaw for me, and review wrong here from a few people, it is NOT turn based.You are alway in a certain time pressure what i a hated on Guild 2 and what i hate here too.
