Game breaking bug
Can't advance the game during the conversation with the ape king. The game crashes every time.

Too much I don't like...
Firstly, the story is great. Very well written and lots of deep, seemingly complex characters. Beyond that however, it's a mess. Terrible UI even down to the choice to make everything extremely dark and low contrast. Combat is almost like not ccombat at all. There is no combat sounds, no combat animations, no health or damage indicators, the only thing that is different is the health bar display and the actual monster on your screen. Nothing else about it is combat-like. And att he end, you need to click a button to see the loot bag appear, every time. Apparently there is meant to be a mini-map, but I can't get it to display, so I'm forced to open up the full-screen map over and over, breaking immersion. Navigation is not intuitive and the scenes displayed are not indicative of any pattern in the map. For example, quite often there will be a set of stairs in front of you, but you don't have the option to move forward, nor in other instances where you can move forward, does there appear to be any change in elevation or continuation of the previous scene. There's no real direction on what to be doing beyond the story, which might be fine if the other areas of the game were more solid, but as it is very barebones and lacking a lot of quality and good content, the game is too boring to perservere. Can not recommend even for the discounted price.

Excellent, but ...
I am truly enjoying this game, but sadly it is not yet of release quality. Had this been billed as early access I would have been ecstatic in my praises, but it was not. The path I chose to follow, a female mage, seemed ok until we passed through the mirror - then the second quest, to locate and rescue the young girl, transmuted into find a herb and magically the Prince was reinstated - I have played several hours past this point but the game became more and fragile and i have now given up as i seem to have located all the various badies, but have no way of getting the scrolls to actually kill them permanently, I shall wait until another patch (there have been two whilst I've been playing) is released.
