The Developers outdid themselves

I went into this game not expecting much, but what i got exceeded my expectations. The Graphics, the atmosphere, the story, are all amazing, i am glad they gone back to point & click beacause the previous game controls and camera were in my opinion pretty bad. The only thing i want to be done better in the next game are the puzzles, i mean some of them were kind of easy. Great graphics do not make a great game.

I'm a big fan of Syberia, and recommend the first two installments to any adventure fan looking for something new. The storyline and athmosphere were really unique in both games! As of now, I completed about two thirds of Syberia 4, and it took me ages to do so. Not because the game is hard, but because I had to force myself to continue the game. Syberia 4 seems to have been a very ambitious project, but somehow between all the great graphics, animations, cut scenes, music and puzzles, the authors forgot that a game has to be interesting in some way. Syberia 1 had a clear goal to find a specific person and it felt very rewarding completing the goal. The plot in Syberia 4 feels completely random to me, however, and it is hard to feel empathy for any of the characters.

Excellent jeu jusqu'ici

Je ne suis pas encore très avancé mais ce dernier opus de la saga Syberia me semble très prometteur. Je suis également soulagé de voir que, contrairement à la démo qui ramait à mort sur ma petite configuration (même le curseur bougeait avec difficulté), le jeu final est parfaitement optimisé et tourne très fluidement (en haute qualité) sur mon petit I3 + Asus GeForce GT 640 (+ 28Go de ram). De nombreux paramètres de configuration vidéos sont disponibles et peuvent être réglés au besoin (ce qui n'était pas possible sur la démo). Si vous hésitez à vous procurer le jeu à cause d'une configuration inférieure à celle recommandée (I5 et Geforce GTX) n'hésitez donc plus. Avec un simple I3 et une petite GT cela ira sans souci.

A worthy new entry in the series

Sokal's wonderfull world building, the automatons, the mood ... fantastic. Most puzzles are on easier side, but I think it is ok. Toward the end the game getss little bit too sentimental for me, but thats ok :) You should play the game, if you liked Syberia 1-2.
