I can't recommend this game

I've gone back to this game many times since it first came out, but that's pure nostalgia, it's not actually a good game. The combat is basic, the graphics weren't great even when it came out, and the gameplay is simplistic. Go get the original Age of Empires instead, way better game from the same era. I'll still go back to this from time to time, but I'm not recommending anyone else join me. Game is crash-free, and runs fine on Windows 11.

This is a great RTS game. Althought the graphics is somewhat old school the gameplay is fantastic.

Price Concern

[u]I couldn't find any place on this page to ask questions, so I guess I'll just do it in this review ([b]lol[/b]):/u] What is the difference between this GOG version of Seven Kingdoms and the Official free/open-source version of Seven Kingdoms? There has to be [b]some[/b] improvement to the GOG version right? But I don't see anything about it in the description... They're not actually charging €6 for a free game, are they?
