Devespresso Games illegally sells this Title with enabled Unity Analytics. Neither do they tell, nor do they present the opt-out option. Be sure to block communication to "cdp.cloud.unity3d.com". The game is NOT A POINT-N-CLICK ADVENTRE, it is designed to work with a gamepad. Keyboard Layout is WASD + E + Q.

Cured my depression
You know that feeling where you've been stuck in the triple-A games hole for so long, you've forgotten what actual fun tastes like? All the grinding, all the waiting, all the homework-inspired gameplay. You tell yourself you're having fun, but when you come down to it, the only reason why you keep playing is because they've brainwashed you into wanting to watch those numbers grow. Then a game like Scarlet Hood appears in your life. Carefree, colorful, simple. Perfect length. Love the theming. Man, it's good to feel alive again. Whoever made this, THANK YOU.

Great game, awful support
Great little visual novel mixed with point and click. There is no fighting, but you need to evade enemies sometimes. Most puzzles are straightforward but a couple of them are a mystery to me even after completing the game (i gave up and looked for solution on Youtube). Overall, i would recommend this game, but not in it's current state. First, there is a memory leak - the more you play, the more game stutters. You can fix it by closing the game and launching it again. Second, there is a bug one of the quests which prevents you from finishing it. Not a big deal if you want to just get to the end (you need to complete 1 quest from 3 each time), but it will prevent you to get some endings and achievements. Both these issues was resolved in latest Steam build, but not there. So, if you want to play this - wait until developers update GOG version (Steam one is 1.0.7, GOG one is 1.0.1), or buy it from Steam.

Calm and fun atmosphere and sexappeal
First the most important thing in a video game: the sexappeal is nice. The whole game really feels like an adventure you are going through, because of the good graphics, atmosphere and music and sound. There is a pre "game story" part with a lot of talking characters (text) I didn't care about and that got me worried. But then the real game starts and it's a mix between a point'n click (optimized for controller) and a puzzle game. I didn't write any of the puzzles down and did it all in the head. This keept the puzzles challenging. Is there fighting? Yes, but as far as I know you can't fight back. You can dodge and hide, which are different enemy types. The enemies are well designed so they don't get annoying and look really good. So you can lose all life and die which is nice change for a point'n click/puzzle game. I assume I played around 60-70% of a first playthrough so far. There are multiple endings. I can imagine what that is hinting to and I like the idea. The graphics are beautiful. Even the loading screen keeps you in the game. The art direction is really good and everything is very well composed. The sound and music are eeexcellent! The game is not too long. Is it too short? I don't think so, the length feels allright. But it is on the shorter end of the spectrum. The game does stutter sometimes a little bit and returning to the main menu (which I almost never do except to exit the game) takes veeeeeeeery long. But overall it is very well made, no bugs, everything is snappy and responsive and totally playable and fair and not too easy gameplaywise. If you have good speakers and a nice tv, this is an excellent couch game. The only thing that would improve the game for me is an 18+ rating aka even more fan service. But I love it. Would buy again a game with this art direction.

Superb game!
Dear GoG, please delete the review "Great game, awful support" with one star, because this game have already the patch 1..0.7! What to write more than the reviews with 5 stars?? The game is superb: have beautiful and sexy characters, very charming story, nice and fun gameplay, different endings, cute music! This game have art style! If you have the 'Coma' series and 'Vambrace: Cold Soul', you must have this game. Btw, in Scarlet Hood you can see posters from 'Coma' and 'Vambrace'. In 'Vambrace', you find out about a nightmare in 'Coma'. I'm glad to have them.
