One of the best games ever, full of history and an example of great coding and game development. 10/10

An amazing classic
I remember many years ago, when I was just a wee lad, I received this game for my birthday, or Christmas, or Hanukkah... or maybe it was Kwanzaa. Something like that. The point is, I fell in love with it immediately. This game is a must play for anyone who considers themselves a gamer. Why is this game so great? You get to build your own themepark. Place down rides, concessions, paths, trees and other decorations. You can set the prices for everything, and, most importantly, you can build your own roller coasters. There are preset designs for roller coasters, but it's much more fun to build your own. The best part is you can make these has dangerous as you want. I think everyone who played this game remembers loving to kill people by crashing roller coasters (or by picking them up and placing them in a pool of water). If you don't already own this game, get it now. It's a must have.

Childhood Memories
Possibly one of the best games that reflects the creativity and nostalgia of a child memory. This game is one of the best hidden gems, and to find it working on latest operating systems is one game I patiently waited for years. This now allows me to relive child memories, the music, the sounds and the just the overall fun is one game you should not miss. Sure, the second and third product of the series are great, but the first is one of the best of the lot. It should not be ignored, playing this brings back those memories and is truly an enjoyable and possibly new experience. If you ever get the chance, try the game out, you will enjoy it!

Keep them coming!
One of my favorite games of all time! The funny thing is when you quit the game there is a popup that says something along the lines of closing "Railroad Tycoon." Haha!

Works beautifully on Win7 64 bit
If you've never played Rollercoaster Tycoon before I'm not sure if I can help you know if you'd like it. It's one of those games where you kind of "make your own fun" by nerding out about perfect placement of park paths, decorations, rides, bathrooms, benches, etc. I will say this though: it works beautifully on Windows 7. I can play one of my favorite classic PC games again like it was brand new.
