Visit lost temples, forgotten cities and untamed wilderness to discover magnificent treasures. Find your way past wolves, smugglers and angry locals to become known as a fearless explorer. Select your band of adventurers carefully! Each of the 20 explorers has their own expertise and character traits when dealing with conflicts. Choose among Fighters, Scouts, Speakers and Scientists and find out the best way to use their talents.

An awesome game to play with my 6-year old daughter!
We've had a blast playing the game occasionally for the past year.

Until the last update.
On my Windows 7 PC it refused to start, asking now for some d3dcompiler_47.dll
On my Windows 10 new Dell notebook it started once, crashed in the menu, and refused to start ever since (black screen and nothing).
It took me almost 2 hours to try various options until I found out that it is possible to roll back updates.
Seriously, this is not good.
Why did they even do the update? GDPR? It should be possible to introduce it without ruining the stability of the game.
Rating of 4 stars until this mess is fixed.
Don´t think less of it just because of its colourful nature and mobile-game-like graphics. Buy it. This is a polished, unique and challenging game that has been made with so much love and passion that you can really feel it. Give it a chance and you´ll love it and keep returning to it like I do. And it might make you buy a plane ticket to Borneo to subsequently get lost in the jungle like I did. Fun times.

Nonsensical "battle" system where "diplomacy" is really just a different weapon to beat over the heads of your opponents. Nothing like a little "friendly fire"!
This game has nothing to offer. Gameplay is overly simplistic while simultaneously somewhat obscure. The reasons for doing anything just don't make any sense at all, and no matter how "charming" your explorer may be, I don't see the reason why a pirate, looter, or smuggler would hand over the goods just because you talked him/her into it.
But worst of all - this game is just plain boring. This is the first GOG purchase I have come to regret.
sadly, I don't even get to look at the game since it crashes every time I try to start it.
I'm not the only person with that problem I have seen a few folk complain about it on steam (only place that showed this problem in a google search)
