Privateer 2: The Darkening

Played it years ago and love it . hope it can still play at the same quality as before

Awesome!!! Nowadays, space sim games doesn't even come close to GOG. Games like Freelancer, FreeSpace 1 and 2, Archimedean Dynasty and Aquanox 1 and 2 are my all time favourites. Currently, I may add EVE on-line is the closer.

I never got to complete this game since there was a bug that made it crash on CD3 when landing on a certain base. I soooo look forward to playing again!

why can't they get these DOS games working? i have to stop wasting my time with these DOS games that either don't work at all or have some other issues, i tried playing around with the config for this thing but had to give up all hope. sometimes you just want to play a game and not waste time trying to figure out why the game won't work, my advice to you is stay away from any games that need to use dosbox.

I bought this based on some of the reviews. I was expecting something. But all I got was an old game that performs poorly on modern hardware, a joke for an interface, and ugly... I have yet to find one redeeming thing to say about it. Even the manual fails to show the bizarre key layout. All the higher reviews don't say what they actually liked about the game. Maybe it is the only game they have ever played? I just don't get it. I only gave it a 2 for trying to be Privateer. You are better off playing the first Privateer.
