Awesome game, but don't get it on GOG

Love the game, but there's one main gripe for me: All the community created blueprints reside on steam workshop, and there's no simple way to get them if you got the game from GOG. It could be fine if developers provided some other means of sharing those creations, even a dedicated forum would be a help. Right now - simply put on GOG you get a subpar experience. And I refuse to shell out full price again to get it on steam.

Great themepark tycoon game

Parkitect is a great game. It offers a lot of customization to make the themepark your own, completely. And through parkitectnexus.com you can extend the game even further with mods, rides and attractions made by the community. It's a great successor to the themepark tycoon games of old.

Amazing game you DONT AVOID IT ON GOG

The game has no problems is an amazing theme park builder i love it the mechanics graphics and how the game is so player frinedly without sacrificing its depth, now the real reason why i made this review is that you can use the steam workshop mods in this version you just need to search for a web site i cant link it but just google how to use mods in this version and you will be able to do it just download the mod that you like from the workshop you just have to put them in the carpet manually but honestly they are not heavy and you can just download a bunch put them on mods and thats it, and the game has almost all the blueprints from steam in the blueprints section in game so dont skip this version if you prefer gog or you can get it cheaper here cheers and have fun

Needs a scenario..

As a big fan of the SimCoaster and the RollerCoaster Tycoon franchise I can say this is a very interesting take on what could have been of those games. There is a lot of things included in this game that it's predecessors overlooked entirely. For example there is literally tons and tons of vending shops for everything you can think of and the rides that are just mesmerizing to look at. It is a very beautifully designed game with a lot of thought put into it and it really shows. However, engineering and execution aside it I feel it falls quite short on the entertaining aspect as there is no campaign or scenario. I feel without any objective it can get boring pretty quickly. I know this is currently in development but I hope we can see some decent scenarios to really make the game great.

Roller Coaster Tycoon the Modern Edition

This is RCT, like one to one from the awkward windows over the coaster building to the terraforming!. It is exactly the same, only better!. Ever where bored because you reached the goal in 3 months and sitll had to wait until year 2? Tons of Windows that clutter the screen with their openness? Upgraded to a 4K or still use your HD Monitor for 10 years now meaning that you had to change your resolution? Raged over the lack of speed controls? Wanted to easily mod new stuff in it? Just find the loveable pixelated sprites way to dated for you taste? Love low poly like but yet like it to have a 4K finish to them? Well this is the game for you!. Parkitect is just the first and second RCT games only more polished and with a nice new 3D Engine. If I had to complain over something it is that I cannot ride the rides!. Yes, I know, it never was as good as we made belief 20 years ago and it doesn't work that well with that grafik style, but just make it a mod!. So noone sees it as an unpolished feature of the main game.^^
