Person of European Heritage #112: Welcome to Relocation Block B, your new home. Your designated role is 'Bouncer'. Work hard, stay out of trouble, and we might let you stay in the UK.

In an alternative Britain where Brexit talks have collapsed, an extreme far-right government has taken power. Citizens of European heritage have been rounded up and exiled. Forced out of your previous life, you find yourself in the midst of a booming gig economy, fighting to scrape by and return to the city you call home.

Not Tonight is a post-Brexit management game, fusing a time-pressure RPG with a politically charged story where every decision matters. Will you join the resistance and fight the regime -- or keep your head down and hope that one day this will all be a distant memory?
  • Man the doors of pubs, clubs, festivals and parties, finding work via the BouncR app
  • Check IDs, manage guestlists, and stop revellers from becoming unruly
  • Upgrade your apartment, bouncer and equipment to better prepare yourself for the future

Not Tonight is a surprisingly deep and engaging game that will suck you in. If you let it. Of course, the politics aren't to everybody's liking, but the game more than makes up for it with great wit, as it tackles - to an extent - deep subjects. The gameplay can be artificially difficult at times, but is still as engaging as the obvious inspiration: Papers, Please. Should you play Not Tonight? Yes, yes you should.

Beautiful game.

Not tonight is rather similar in gameplay to "Papers, please", but not as simplistic. You actually have a character with an appearance you can pick and change, a flat (a horrible one), you interact with other characters (mostly horrible ones). There's a "color blind" mode for people who have trouble with telling colors, which is awfully nice. Plot-wise, the game, once again, is similar to "Papers, please" but not as simplistic. It deals with the real problems of the modern society - populism, bigotry, terrorism, et cetera, et cetera. There are some funny references that I enjoyed. To put it short, it's "Papers, please" mixed with "V for Vendetta". And the fireworks are about to start.

So much hate for the theme of the game

The game is fine, it's a copy of Papers Please, not as great, but still enjoyable. There's seem to be a lot of hate for it's theme, making the british the bad guys after the brexit, i guess the downvotes came from brexiteers, angry, because the game is more right than worng in the other hand seen recent news about the ruin of the Brexit. But relax, it's just a game.

Should be banned - offensive Remoanerism

Those defending or applauding the game just don't get it. Games like this promote and perpetuate the offensive and false impression that Brexit voters were all drunken, ignorant racists and xenophobes - and that they would bring about the collapse of the country. If I produced a game where the Labour Party in Britain stopped Jewish people from working in schools or hospitals, or as doctors, or police or civil servants, or indeed any local government jobs, and gameplayed "regaining" all the money that "Jewish bankers stole" from "the people", and then gameplayed "wiping Israel off the face of the Earth", I'm certain it wouldn't even be allowed on GOG or anywhere else. And yet these were some of the actual opinions of anti-semites that recently came to the fore in the Labour Party under Jeremy Corbyn, rather than an extension of falsehoods levelled at Brexit voters by Remainers, so such a game would be based on facts rather than fantasy. How GOG let this game in is beyond me.

A bad example of Papers,please

This is just a game that uses papers,please mechanic to do a bad propaganda story that pretends to be a game. Stay away, not really worth the time
