In the Ten Towns of Icewind Dale, the Hero of Neverwinter awakens. Stripped of their recent memories and left to die by a mysterious power, they must survive a dire threat to the dale as they seek the truth behind their abduction. The answers they discover will shape the very fate of the Forgotten Realms.

 

Explore the arctic wilderness of the infamous Icewind Dale. Fight snow goblins, ice trolls, yetis, and worse as you navigate the frozen tundra and icy wastes and uncover a sinister plot to unleash a rage-filled godling upon the North. Only with the aid of friends old and new will the legendary Hero of Neverwinter be able to recover their memories and prevent the Doom of Icewind Dale…

What! A new NWN1 DLC!

I have played a slew of some great, and some not so great NWN1 fan-based modules over the years since it was released almost 23 years ago. It is great too see another commercial module DLC released. I have just initially started so, a more complete review will have to come later, but so far I have been impressed. I look back at the advances made since the beginning, notably The Enhanced version from BeamDog, but as well as the continual fan based updates that are still on-going, and it is truly remarkable. If your a fan of NWN1 then you should consider supporting NWN: Doom of Icewind Dale for the potential of further modules DLCs being released. And if there are issues (don't nickpick, just to nickpick), and we all know there is not one game out there they will not have some issues (hopefully no game breaking ones), I'm sure the delveloper as well as the rest of the community would appreciate the feedback.

Very well done Addition

This is a very well done Addion for Neverwinter Nights and worth the Money. The Campaign is made very lovely with a lot of Quality in Details, be it Connections to older D&D Games, the Map Layout, or the awsome new Music. I am glad and grateful this has been done. You could see this as a Neverwinter Nights X Icewind Dale in a very good Sense. I can really recommend it!

Very nice expansion

I really enjoyed the playthrough! Nice graphics. Great music. Dynamic fights. I really like that it brings memories of official campaigns and other modules.

Good Game

I don’t mind paying $10 for a new mod. I also don’t mind paying community developers for the games they produce. They are all cheap entertainment and good for testing problem-solving skills. If someone has a problem with paying for s game, there is a simple solution: Don’t. Go away and sulk. As for DoID, it has kept me happily exploring and fighting for hours. I look forward to bludgeoning Iceblood and Arctus. Keep these coming.
