the worst one

I played Moto-Racer One during my time by the army and i loved that game. It was the fastest racer i ever played. Later i bought the second part (Moto Racer 2) and it was not as fast and funny than the first title... but it was ok. Here at GoG i completed my Motoracer-Collection and i am very disapointed. MR3 isn't fast and it isn't fun! If you liked the first title, the third one is to different.

A series that got progressively worse.

I never knew there was an MR3, and I used to love the first two (even now they are still worth $5). Sadly, this one isn't. The graphics are more refined, but that is the only benefit. The sound is just annoying, track design is pretty ordinary, menu system sucks and it just feels sluggish. Give number 1 or 2 a shot instead, they are far more enjoyable, and 1 is definitely the best.

Fond Memories

I have fond memories of playing this game and would definitely recommended it if it were not for the price. I know we all like older games but racing titles age less gracefully than the other genres I believe, the handling in this would feel completely wrong were I replay it in this day and age, I feel $10 is too steep of an asking price. Moto Racer 3 is(was?) a blast, was definitely cool racing with traffic and doing all the stunts this game has to offer, there is enough gameplay variation to keep you interested for hours, i'm not sure enhanced the Gold edition is but if they have touched up the handling a bit I would highly recommend this title to everyone, just a shame they didn't add in multiplayer racing while improving the engine. If you feel you can risk $10 on the handling then I would definitely say buy it, it's a great game! (how I remember it)

Better than I expected

I bought both Motoracer 2 and Motoracer 3 off GOG and my personal opinion is that this one is better. I was looking for a motorcycle sim and although Motoracer 2 was getting better reviews, it was too ardcadie for me and I didn't like it as much as I do Motoracer 3. The fact that the graphics are better is a plus too. I would recommend this game without hesitation.

Worst of the series...

The graphics are better, but controls feels unresponsive. Although I was able to finish some tracks it looks like there is no further progress in the game. Or is there any? It is hard to tell because menu of the game is like the worst UI design I've ever encountered in a video game. Therefore I wouldn't recommend it unless you want to buy whole trilogy on sale. If you played Moto Racer 1&2 just skip the 3rd one and move to another game...
